Is Daddy going to Yorkshire Mummy?
Are we going to Yorkshire today?
    Is Tigger going to Yorkshire?
Will Grandma and Grandad be in Yorkshire?
Am I going to sleep when we are in Yorkshire?
    Are we going to Yorkshire?
Are we going today to Yorkshire?
Please can I take my camera to Yorkshire?
Is [insert name of any cuddly toy] coming to Yorkshire?
    Is Daddy coming to Yorkshire?
Are we going to Yorkshire today?

I'm just glad we only told her yesterday.

    How cute!!

My CM has just booked another holiday for June. She told her girls (2 and 4) yesterday that they were going on holiday again and they asked if Benjamin could go with them too this time :A

ETA, I got a copy of a letter the hosp sent to my drs about my labour.

What does Pathological CTG mean?? and what is Apgars of 8 @ 1 minute and 9 @ 5 minutes, it also says his Arterial gas was 7.15 and Venous was 7.34

It also says on the letter I was discharged home on 18th March, well I wasnt I was trans to Sunderland I wasnt discharged till 21st would you tell the drs that the date is wrong?
Agpar score is out of ten and they assess baby on five things (which is what the letters in Agpar stand for) and give them a 0,1 or 2 for each. 8 and 9 is pretty good and indicates that he was doing well when he was born and probably not in distress.

I would correct them but I am like that. OH's medical records have phantom pregnancy on them but it's so obviously ridiculous that he's too embarrassed to point it out.

    What does Pathological CTG mean??
CTG fetal heart rate features and classification7
Baseline HR/bpm HR Variability/bpm Decelerations in fetal HR Accelerations in fetal heart rate Reassuring 110–160 ≥5 Absent Present Non-reassuring 100–109 or 161–180 <5 for ≥40 mins but <90 mins Early decelerations or variable decelerations or single prolonged deceleration lasting ≤3 mins Absence of accelerations in an otherwise normal CTG is of uncertain significance Abnormal <100 or >180 or sinusoidal pattern for ≥10 mins <5 for ≥90 mins Atypical variable decelerations or late decelerations or single prolonged deceleration lasting >3 mins Absence of accelerations in an otherwise normal CTG is of uncertain significance
    • A normal CTG is defined as all four features fall into reassuring category.
    • A suspicious CTG is defined as 1 feature non-reassuring, rest reassuring.
    • A pathological CTG is defined as ≥2 features non-reassuring, or ≥1 abnormal.
    Copied and pasted from patient.co.uk.

I could try but I am scared of squishing him :(

He really won't settle today and its getting to me, he is tired but wont go to sleep, and when he is awake always wants feeding etc :(

hi kindof, i had this with Kian when he was bout 4 weeks old, needed feeding every 2 hours or less, i too was getting soo tired so i switched him to the 'hungry baby milk' and it made such a difference.

is he taking all the bottle when he needs feeding?

Kian would look for a bottle (i thought) take 1//2 oz and go asleep, so the MW suggested giving him a soother as sometimes its the sucking they miss and it did work. he stayed asleep longer and stopped looking for the bottle all the time. fell asleep much easier as well.

    Thanks :)

Its weird he got an 8 and a 9 then seeing as he had a pneumothorax and had to have his lung drained and spent 4 days in special care.

Yeah I think I should correct them, cos on the 18th I still looked like death and was nowhere ready to go home lol

Thanks Susan so the pathological CTG was the heart monitoring they did on Elliot which then led them to forceps delivery him (cos the actual sentance on the letter is: Rachael had a Neville Barne's forceps delivery on the 16th March as she had a pathological CTG)

Jillie, no thats the problem he isnt, he never has, we make a 3 oz bottle and he takes 2oz usually sometimes OH can get him to drink the full bottle (he never does when I feed him?) but 90% of the time there is milk left in the bottle.

The bloody HV just rang and woke him up ARGH its going to be one of those days isnt it lol

I'll try his dummy next time, cos I usually stick my knuckle in his mouth and when he sucks on it then I go make him a bottle, but he might just want his dummy

Also antoehr question for FF fed babies on here, how much do yours poo? he is only pooing once a day and we are worried he is consipated, cos he used to go more than that, any cures for that if he is? does cooled down boiled water help with that?

Loving all the daft April Foolness!
DD sent a text to around 30 friends saying she was in the hospital with a broken leg and got about 9 instant replies asking what had happened lol

Funny you should joke about being pregnant, my friend gave birth on 1st April after a secret pregnancy, her DD is 15 today. People took a lot of convincing that it WASN'T an April fool!!!!!

kindof, Dylas apgar was 9 and 9 and went to NICU for 2 weeks. The problem with lung issues is that they take longer than 5 minutes after birth to show up:)

And we are only getting one poop a day ... so long as you get at least 1 a week and there is no blood, its normally fine
