  • Thank you :)

He is being a little devil today (I know not on purpose lol) but he is wanting feeding every hour!! I am soooo tired off lack of sleep as it is :(

EA yay for Lilys weight, we missed getting him weighed today :( I was up early with him, and I fed him at like half 9 or something then fell asleep on sofa (OH was asleep in bed) I didnt wake up will 10.45 and the clinic was 9-11, but there is another on on tuesday so we are taking him to that one

Can you take him to bed for the afternoon and feed him in bed? Then you can both have a rest/doze.

Best way of coping with growth spurts IME :D and a good excuse for an afternoon of cuddles with babba :T

Another question for sling users - when you take a small baby out in the sling, what do you do when you want to stop for a coffee or something, do you leave them in the sling or take it off and hold them? (presumably when they are older it's easier as they can sit on their own)

I have a wrap sling which you basically tie before putting the baby in so you can in theory leave it on all day and just pop baby in and out when needed although in practice if I leave it on without Erin in the straps fall off my shoulders and then I forget what goes where and end up having to take it off and start again! So if I'm stopping somewhere for only a short time and I wont be moving around much I will leave the sling on and have Erin sitting on my knee but if I'm at baby group for example which is 2 hours and we move around a lot I'll take it off. When going out in the car I put the sling on before we set off so it's ready when we get where we are going. I don't generally leave Erin in the sling if we are out with people as she needs the freedom to move and interact with them IMO but if she is asleep in the sling I sometimes leave her in it. HTH

    Thank god lol

WOAH hes just had a little 5 second cry, his little stressed cry when he thinks you havent got to him quick enough, so I put the laptop down to get him and he's asleep? do you think he had a bad dream?

What did SS do? I saw Weezls prank lol

Oh my god, he got fed at half 10, and he woke up again at 11.40 and wanted feeding again INSANE!

Elliot has loads of what we call eye snot in his left eye :( and I mean loads, do you think he could have an infection? (I dont want to be a paraniod mam lol)

If the eye goes red and swollen it most likely is infected so best to go to the GP as soon as you can and get it treated.

I've just sorted out my tesco vouchers... Got £42.50 plus a £6 that has expired! I thought I had about a tenner lol... Off to the Tesco website to exchange them now...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Somebody who isn't at work will be along in a minute and will find out the pictures of how to feed laying down safely.

My MW frogmarched me upstairs and showed me how to and it was the best thing anyone could have done for me. She then left me lay in bed and let herself out (and came back an hour later to check I was still there LOL).

If you lay with your bottom arm kind of stuck out on the bed above the baby's head you can't roll forward IYSWIM!!!

Learning to feed laying down will make a big difference in your tiredness levels, especially doing night feeds.

If it all gets to much stick him in the pram and get yourselves out for an hour - will do you both the world of good xxx

I'm back, My face is frozen. I was talking to Amber but my face was too frozen to smile :rotfl:.

It's windy out there  But sunny, just the wind is ice cold lol.

Some weird man gave me a dog collar, he said his friend's dog died but it was too big for his little yappy thing. Was nice of him. And some other old guy told me the birds were coming to get me?? (The park is near the old people's home lol). *polite nod and scarper*

The obsessive Rihanna with added bass has gone off, maybe i did slam the door loud enough on my way out LOL :rotfl:
