    morning

nice April Fool SS!! had me going and then i remembered you had your period on hols. ;)

been to GP with Kian, he's got conjunctivitis in both eyes :( said to wipe with warm water & cotton wool, but also gave me a script for drops in case it hasnt cleared up over the w/end. has been a hard week tbh. he's been very 'off' totally not himself, although he has a cold as well. and i've put the grumpiness down to teething as when he wakes at night he's proper crying and wont settle for ages. put some calpol in his night time bottle which seemed to have helped (not sure if you can put calpol in milk or not but he drank it all and no effects from what i can see) as he had a better night sleep. DH not coping too well with the teething malarky and he told him to 'shut up' last night so i snapped back and said 'are you that naive to think he would get teeth with no problems!!' aagh men!!!

kester is still not back up to birth weight which is unusual with a FF baby. Also he is being described by our HV as premmy, which was a surprise as he was born at 38+2 and I thought 37 was the cut off?
Perhaps she meant before "due" date rather than actually premature? Dates can be wrong and it is possible to assess gestational age at birth by looking at various things including ear development, resting posture, vernix, lanugo etc. but I wouldn't have thought they would do an assessment and draw a conclusion of prematurity without having discussed it with you.

I wonder if anyone actually announces a pregnancy like that?

A friend of mine did, although she told the immediate family first. I "announced" the last one by doing one of those Facebook quizzes where you put in 30 things nobody knows about you, and number 26 or something was that I was pregnant and hiding my announcement to see who actually reads those things.

    morning :D:D
i have been to the school for their 'BIG' breakfast and it was great! the kids were stuffing themselves full and the stock did not seem to be going down! who knows what they will do with the leftovers as the schools break off tom!!! there was lots of fruit, cereal, toast with local jams/honey/butter, cereal bars, milk, milkshakes and fruit juice! really was good and the kids all loved it!

Nursery have just phoned to say Charlie is ok as he was very upset leaving us today :( he was away to have snack and play in the water.

Wezzl what a naughty girl you are lol!!!! As PP said you need to deal with the important things first, babies are allowed to cry and it honestly doesnt do them any harm! i find that it is easier to do both nappies at once and then try to get a similar nap time for them both. it does get easier and the sniping at OH is all part of it. Lack of sleep/food doesnt help and sometime just 5 mins cuddled on the seatee helps. xx

Tsk Tsk ladies. Karen was about stroking reading her FB, then I realised the day....

    Ok, lemmie have a go....

"Waaaaaaah, I went to the gym and used their towels and now I have crabs *sniff*"

Ok, that's a lie, I caught them off the guy at the local Shell. He gives me discount diet coke if I do him favours ;)

    I'm so sick.

Oh god, Keira got up at 6am this morning, started capering with Ellie, and I've been up since then, what an UGMO time!! Was supposed to take Keira to a birthday party today, well its not a REAL party, just a get together my friend is doing for a girl, but I just KNOW by 2pm, Keira is going to be an overtired emotional wreck, and my friend just wants an excuse for a p!ss up.....SO!!! Text is about to get sent....

"OMFG that cat has went and eaten summat again, I have to take him to the vets, sorry can't make it, wish XXX a happy birthday from me, I'll bring her gift up when I can"

    God, I am sooooo mean.

If you have an 18m old kid, do you really play your music loud enough to make the neighbours house shake, all day?

Like, what must the kid be doing?? They're obviously not interacting with it.

I've been waiting for her to drop the next sprog hoping a newborn might stop them, but i doubt it will. She's due next week so fingers crossed :(
