It's difficult when they both need you, sometimes you feel like you should split yourself down the middle for them.... I actually think I have it easier than you in that Aimee is much older and much more able to fend for herself if needed... I think if Kester's basic needs are met (he's not hungry or wet) then it's OK to let him whinge a little in order to see to Fergie... Have you tried a sling? lol... ;)

Not sure I've heard of a damaged cervix? Incidentally, mine is different since Caitlyn was born... My mooncup keeps leaking :(

And the snipping at each other is only natural when you're surviving on little sleep, and splitting yourself in half to be there for each baby... It does get better, promise :)

Fergie is so lovely, I want one of his forehead touches!!!!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Hello Weezl, I'm glad you and your boys are ok. I think it's natural to get a bit snippy post-baby, it was certainly Sniping Towers around here for a while and with two.... goodness.

If Kezzie had been premmie you'd have been transferred to hospital after all, surely?

I may have just posted a photo on Facebook....

'ello gorgeous :) I'd love some tips on what to do when it's just you and both your LOs need you really badly!!!!!

You deal with the most important first.. blood/broken bones come before the bumped knee.. and cuddles come before feeding the baby.. though you can do both at once!

kester is still not back up to birth weight which is unusual with a FF baby. Also he is being described by our HV as premmy, which was a surprise as he was born at 38+2 and I thought 37 was the cut off?

It is.. but some MW's consider anything under 40 weeks premature..

I do have to have my cervix checked at my 6 weeks though, cos the MW thinks the speed of the labour has done it some damage, eeeep! Not sure what that means. Does a damaged cervix mean anything in real life terms?

Not a great deal.. I have a split in mine that goes about halfway up from DS3's superfast emergence.. and it has a scar running all he way up from being torn when they dragged DS1 and his huge head out.

Good news wise: Fergie really likes kester. When he is excited, he says 'gishi-yeah!' and he says this when he sees kezzie in the mornings. he has also spontaneously gone and done forehead touches with him a couple of times :cool::cool::cool::cool: while we call ot 'GENTLY fergie!'

Until he wants to share his toys!! lol

Thanks Fitz but I'd probably advise a calendar check before congratulating me ;)

I think someone may be being a little unfair this morning to all us mummies with sleep deprivation who are not so on the ball as we would be normally at this time of year!!! (Hopes she is wrong but thinks she may be right!)
