She's had the straggly bits trimmed off the back but nothing more than that... I did think today it's just starting to look a bit longer...

Did you think to offer it on the fairy post for the more folically challenged babies? ;)

Dolly Chicken Eyes was called Dolly Geoffrey yesterday, but this evening she's changed her name to Dolly Sugar Camembert.

Dolly Chicken Eyes is my favorite dolls name ever! :rotfl:

Keira's teeth grew in funny. I phoned the HV about it :rotfl:

She got 1 bottom, 1 top, then the fangs at either side, then they started filling in. Think she had about 8 teeth by 1!!!

We've had one bottom followed 4 months later by one top, then the other bottom and now the other top.

J was very late with his teeth - he had none at 1. L was really quick and had loads when she was 1.

It was strange because although there is 3 1/2 years between J & L, they both started to loose their baby teeth at the same time. J is almost 13 and lost a baby tooth last week - is that normal?

My theory is that the later they get the teeth, the longer they last. :D (Where is Weezl when we need her so she can ask OH?)

Well done on getting through that ordeal without stabbing anyone with a nail clipper!!

I would have been a bit narked at a less than helpfull OH and also the being late and flustered thing... For some reason, since I had Caitlyn, if we're running late I turn into a real b!tch trying to get ready... I don't know why, it never used to bother me?!

Choppy, I think the only thing you can do is keep offering them to her... She'll have a go eventually... If you stopped offering them then they would be even more alien to her... I know Aimee's a bit older, but she always refused to eat brocolli... I always put it on her plate though and made her eat just 1 floret until eventually, she just started eating it with no fuss... Now I'm working on mushrooms ;)

No, not at all. V never really liked proper mushed food and always preferred lumps/finger foods.

Between October and February, she only had the one bottom tooth and absolutely amazed me with what she could eat! Garlic bread or apple with one tooth must be hard work. :rotfl:

I think it just depends on the childs likes/dislikes.
My best RL friends little girl is 10 weeks older than V, and had at least 6 teeth before she was one. At her first birthday she was eating mush while V had a sandwich. *confused smiley*. If her mum fed her anything other than mush she'd do a strange face/noise like she was being choked, and spit it straight back out. (She's ok now btw!)[/QUOTE]

So there is hope for us :D

OK, I think Caitlin is just being fussy then. Perservance (I know that's spelt wrong but CBA to look it up :o) must be the key.

You speak for yourself... Some of us still got woken at 2, 4 and 6 last night :(

I don't know why I said that...we had a 3, 4 and 5 waking here last night, Sunday night was awful (sis was babysitting and she was crying for an hour from 8:30pm then on and off until nearly midnight) and Saturday was a nightmare too (as I kept posting on here!).

I'm hopeful for a peaceful night again soon.

Hey, maybe the lack of sleeping through is due to another tooth...that would kill two birds with one stone - she'd start sleeping through again and be able to chew lumps and finger food :D
  • Choppy - I would just leave her to it TBH. Offer a finger food at each meal but give her what she wants to eat too.
I hated it when Benjamin wouldn't eat whilst we were on holiday, it is so stressful worrying that they have enough inside them.

Tomorrow is my last day BF :( I don't think Benjamin will miss it but I still feel a little sad.

aw SS sorry your holibobs were so poo! :(

Stay here - it was probably more enteraining :p

Choppy - I dont know if shes fussy. Jack is a monster who eats everything - he tired to eat me! OH gave him an apple core on Saturday with some apple left on it and he managed to break bits of apple off! I struggle to eat apples with teeth! :rotfl:

I really think he has one coming through - we've had screaming all evening so just administered paracetamol and its strangely quiet.

Jesus SS!!! Have you got any hair left?! That sounds like a holiday from hell and do you not think it's scary in Spanish airports, because they stand there looking all mean with their big guns.

I have no fear of men with machine guns, bizarrely - I'm much more afraid of the suity types with concealed weapons. What annoyed me was the Spanish people's total disregard for others over the whole trip. There was a pair of Spanish kids at the heated pool who we constantly told to leave Molly alone, and the boy was constantly splashing in her face. We told his mother and she told him off, but as soon as she sat down he was at it again and she just watched him. I told him that if he didn't stop it I'd wait till she went to the bar and drown him. He stopped. Then Molly and I got body-checked out of the way of one guy, and at the airport I asked this guy taking up three seats if I could sit down please and he just piled the stuff he had on the floor on the two seats around him. A little old lady tried to get up for us, but I couldn't take her seat, she clearly needed it more than we did.

Still, the sun was nice and it has given me a new appreciation for Munich, sorely needed.

Edit: Susan, telling me not to read back makes me want to set aside tomorrow to catch up on all 60+ pages :rotfl:

I completely agree with this! Aimee hasn't lost any teeth yet, she was 9 months before she got her first... She cut a back molar a few weeks ago...

I would have offered you the hair for your follically challenged daughter, but figured it's hard enough to wash mashed potato out of hair that's growing out of a head, let alone a baby toupe... ;)

Teeth - Katie got her teeth in groups of 4 at 6 monthly intervals from the age of 10 months.

She got her front 4 first followed by 4 back teeth then the rest just kind of filled in. She has only just got her last 4 molars in the last couple of months.

I get really stressed when we're running late to the extent that I now tell DH we have to leave half an hour earlier than we need to in the hopes that we might be ready.
Proud to be dealing with my debts
