I started ML on 28th May which finished on 28th Feb (39 weeks). Then 5 weeks AL until 6th April. I thought that the extra 13 weeks I'm now taking would start on 7th April, but my boss says my original date of return still stands (31st May would be 52 weeks from the start of my ML).Sealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked

DH and I got married on a Friday. Just about everyone invited turned up for the reception. We did a late registry office with family and then a meal with family and then the reception.
Hmmm, good idea, family to the church for wedding, I mean christening, then others come to the party as we invite to our so-called engagement. :AToo many children, too little time!!!

You can't stop then restart your maternty leave. It's 52 weeks solid, unless you end it sooner (and forfeit the remainder).
You'd either be on SMP until 28th Feb, unpaid for 13wks, then on AL and paid for 5wks then due back at work, or on SMP until 28th Feb, unpaid for however many weeks you choose upto 13wks, then on paid AL for 5wks then due back (no more leave after your AL finishes, unless you take unpaid parental leave too).0 -
