Beenie, that school is all about making a profit!!! Honestly, considering education is free, they're always fleecing us for something! Most recently, "put a picture of your child and a recipe onto this website then buy the school's cookbook for £5.99" without getting a preview of the book to see what you're getting...

Followed by "We're going to a castle in May and it will cost you £9 for the trip and £2 for a souvenier pack... The £2 is optional but every other child will have one, do you want yours to be the one missing out?"

I have to drag my big two out of bed on school days, but they'll be up at 7 without fail at the weekends and school holidays. *confused smiley*. But at least they're old enough to entertain themselves for an hour.

I've got J's school production this morning at 10. Hoping its finished before 12 so we make it to Gymbabes.

Has anyone been to a really nice Haven site? My recent memory is of one in North Wales that was absolutely minging! Surely they're not all like that?

Well according to everyone I bump into, I am ready to give birth anyday now, either that or it MUST| be twins:mad: But other than that bump is fine, well probably gets a bit annoyed with K jumping all over it and elbowing it at randome points:cool:

I am off to Lakeland Haven in Cumbria on Monday, according to my sister and a few people I worked with it is a lovELY ONE, NOTHING LIKE THAT MINGING ONE UP THE ROAD FROM US (oops!)
I will report back on Friday/Saturday when I get back:D

Managed to get my PAC from TMob, was really easy. Am i not a valued enough customer for them to try and get me to stay? lol!

Right, i think im going crazy. I can hear this beeping sound, and have been hearing it all morning. I heard it the other day when OH was home and everytime i told him to listen it stopped and he couldn't hear anything.

lol, we have a trip to Beamish soon that they want £12 for, which is "optional" but to be warned that if we don't pay the whole thing will be cancelled and no one will go. They even said we can pay in installments LOL. I might send in £1 a week in an envelope "installment 1/12" :rotfl:

Just as you think they are settled into a routine or sleeping through then they catch you out! Jack was sleeping through perfectly well fr a good 7 or 8 weeks & then wham! Not slept through regularly since.
Have you tried not feeding him when he wakes?
I found it took a few nights of giving him a dummy or just putting him back to sleep - he then stopped wanting the night feeds. But he did want them again when he had a growth spurt which never followed when the books said he would have them

Aw cute! Jack moves about loads when he naps - generally 90 degrees so has legs poking out the sides! :rotfl:at night all he does is slowly move up the cot - random

Good night here - woke once at 2am, quick shush and lullabies on and he slept til 6.15am :j I think the lullabies helped as I usually don't out them on in the night.

Anyone know somewhere to get cheap bubble wrap?
Ordered a huge roll of eBay but I need some today.

Glam - yup have definitely tried not feeding him. He's clearly hungry as the dummy does nothing to soothe him and he just frets & wiggles more (he tosses his head from side to side when he's hungry). Am going to hope it's the growth spurt and it will stop soon! of course we have jabs tomorrow so that will just prolong the unsettledness, grrr...

Ooo, I've been to Beamish. It was fun! THough I was 16 at the time

Think we are going to Primrose Valley Haven. Friends of ours (quite posh) said it's lovely.

anyone of those going to devon cliffs, we need a highchair for A, how much does it cost to hire one?? would it be cheaper to buy one of those chair booster ones and take it with us????

It's usually £10 per week and an extra £10 deposit, Natalie. Same with baby gates (we usualy get one to put across the door so we can leave it open. Plus you can then put it over the bath to dry swimming stuff.)
