That happened to me too which I was very  about as I'd said I didn't want one unless it was an emergency which it wasn't.
ETA: But apparently having had an episiotomy doesn't affect your chances of tearing/having one again in the future. (According to NICE they are supposed to tell you this.)
I was told that if I didn't push, they'd cut me. I pushed! I'm not sure they are supposed to threaten you like that. I'm glad they did though, I was really on the brink of a c-section and I'm glad they did everything they could so I could have a natural birth.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

I think they said something similar on OBEM in the first episode Feely so it's probably quite common...
Met a friend of mine halfway to school so she took Aimee the rest of the way... Fingers crossed they won't ring me to fetch her today... I'm out all day with my Nan so it will be a nuisance if they do.... I think she's fine, and she was pretty much fine yesterday after an hours nap so I think she was swinging the lead a touch...
I also found out (through earwigging) that if she took 60p a week into school she could have biscuits at break time... Since September nobody has ever told me!!! Her teacher said she often gets something out of her lunchbox when the others are having biscuits so today I put her a couple of chocolate chip cookies in there... It works out cheaper for me that way... As long as I don't eat the rest of the packet and have to buy more... :cool:A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Krystal, the school must be making a tidy profit on 60p for a few biscuits
(edit, oh a WEEK, that's not too bad then - lol!!)0 -
Beenie, that school is all about making a profit!!! Honestly, considering education is free, they're always fleecing us for something! Most recently, "put a picture of your child and a recipe onto this website then buy the school's cookbook for £5.99" without getting a preview of the book to see what you're getting...
Followed by "We're going to a castle in May and it will cost you £9 for the trip and £2 for a souvenier pack... The £2 is optional but every other child will have one, do you want yours to be the one missing out?"A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I've just caught up loads of pages, and can't remember anything.
Hi Mel How's your lovely bump? Surely not the size of an 18 month old with hair and teeth .
Dora I hope you get a good rest, and feel better when you wake up.
PP Hope your boss sorts out your wages, pronto!
I have to drag my big two out of bed on school days, but they'll be up at 7 without fail at the weekends and school holidays. *confused smiley*. But at least they're old enough to entertain themselves for an hour.
I've got J's school production this morning at 10. Hoping its finished before 12 so we make it to Gymbabes.
Has anyone been to a really nice Haven site? My recent memory is of one in North Wales that was absolutely minging! Surely they're not all like that?
Well according to everyone I bump into, I am ready to give birth anyday now, either that or it MUST| be twins:mad: But other than that bump is fine, well probably gets a bit annoyed with K jumping all over it and elbowing it at randome points:cool:
I am off to Lakeland Haven in Cumbria on Monday, according to my sister and a few people I worked with it is a lovELY ONE, NOTHING LIKE THAT MINGING ONE UP THE ROAD FROM US (oops!)
I will report back on Friday/Saturday when I get back:DUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -
Managed to get my PAC from TMob, was really easy. Am i not a valued enough customer for them to try and get me to stay?
lol!
Right, i think im going crazy. I can hear this beeping sound, and have been hearing it all morning. I heard it the other day when OH was home and everytime i told him to listen it stopped and he couldn't hear anything.0
