Bibs - these are good and cheap. They're around £2 in Tesco:
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Tommee-Tippee-46351420-RollnGo-Bib/dp/B000HSZSUM
It just gets washed in the sink with the dishes after meals and has lasted for ages.

Sorry to hear about the holiday SS. That sounds like a really frustrating rule

Another day of uni work and doing phone calls for work. What fun!
Here I go again on my own....

    Morning all..

I slept on and off last night. Rhys would not settle at all for OH so I laid on our bed with him telling him the story of what's going to happen for the next few days and he calmed right down to the point of wriggling over the bed to snuggle in with me and fall asleep so I did the same. Then about 2am OH picked him up, I got up to express like I'd been meaning to do when I got called to calm Rhys down then went to bed again while OH settled Rhys in his cot. That didn't last long and Rhys was soon back in our bed, starfish style in the middle. He's still there now, hogging all the space so I got up and left him to it!

Need to get all Rhys' things together and write out instructions for Mum and OH who are sharing the care of Rhys while I'm down in Nottingham, making sure they know who's giving what meds and that kind of thing :o

But for now.. a cuppa and flapjack for brekkie :D

Hope everyone has a good day xx

Kieren woke up with a tooth yesterday! Front bottom left! Clever boy!

Its a proper through the gum razor sharpe one, not like the top two which keep threatening then disappearing! He obviously has my weird gums I have 3 wisdom teeth that have been coming in for the last 10 yrs and still not through!

He slept til half 5 this moring which is an improvement on the last 10 days! Hes managing to settle OK but can't get back to sleep if he wakes up and getting him to nap has been a nightmare! Lots of walks round the block to get him to drop off as hes fine when hes asleep!

    Hope all are well?

    Morning everyone!!

    Well done Kieren :)

    I hope MM's ok.

Weezl, that was a late post from you, I hope you're sleeping when you can...

My news this morning is exciting... OH managed to get the same holiday with slightly more convenient flight times for €1430. It's still a bit more than we wanted to pay, but it's all inclusive, lots of stars and it's the German school holidays so everything's a bit more expensive.

DH and I are doing a kind of shift system ATM :)

I sleep 10-3am, then relieve him and he sleeps 3am til 10am and then we both stay up for the day and nap when we can.

Today is lovely long nap day as fergie is with his childminder for 5 hrs, and my mum will have Kezzie for 2 and a half of them, so we both get 2 and a half hours of protected sleep :) can't wait :j:j

Glad DH has come good on the holiday, well done him :)

I asked Elle to give you a hug from me MM, but really, it's a snog ok?

csh, yay for teeth! Was he bothered by it or not?

Weezl, yay for sleep! And yes, it's normal for them to be slow feeders. I take it you're using bottles? Would you think of going up a teat size (if you don't breast feed directly)?

And plastic bibs with collection bit make me gag, I juts think it's just too gross that chewed up food and slevers collect in them *gags* I can't say any more on the matter, sorry! (it's just me being emetaphobic)

Christopher off nursery today, he is a lot better (promise of xbox made him take medicine last night) but not well enough. I have a cold and funky multi coloured snot (cos you all wanted to know that) so feeling just dandy

    Morning :)

Lily had so much formula last night, she was feeding every 2 hours it seemed, finishing the 4oz bottle and the screaming for more. Is that ok?
It seems to be difficult to fill her up, either on breast milk or formula milk.

    Yay for Kierens tooth :D
