I've thrown Keira around loads of kids with chickenpops and she NEVER catches them. It's really quite annoying as I'd rather she had them now than later on in life!
One in ten cases of chicken pox are so mild that the parents don't realise the child has it so it is possible she has had it.

Yep. Andrew was three weeks younger and 100g (4oz) heavier. He was described as a severe case of IUGR (intra-uterine growth restriction) - goodness alone knows how they're describing this tiny baby!

It's amazing to think how much neonatal medicine has advanced in only a few years. When I had DS1 8years ago it was pretty much unthinkable that a baby under 2lbs would make it, now look at Andrew. He's an amazing little guy, Tigs.

And down again - quicker and easier than it has been this last week or so. If she wakes again soon, I gotta assume it's not pain (as the brufen should have kicked in by now) and just a 'phase'.

Lordy, she whinging in her sleep now............but no waking...yet.....wriggling like mad...rocking side to side.....bashing head from side to side........and relax. Peaceful baby. I like watchin her on her tv moniter :D

Not got me hopes up for tonight though.

Hugs to all, especially those with new LO's at home xxx

It was always guess work trying to figure out why and I'm still non the wiser, lol

Krystal - thats kind of why I don't like doing the medicine, if it's just a natural sleepless thing and not pain. I suppose I don't know which it is if I don't try though. If it is pain, she should do an hour or so now if not more so I'll just have to see.

In some ways, the development thing might make more sense as she wakes a lot less when sleeping with me but I don't want to have to co-sleep again and kick OH out - and if I do -at what point do I put her back in her cot. Why are babies not easy to sort out :rotfl:

JAM - Jack cries about 4-5 times between when I put him to bed (7pm) and when we go to bed (10-11pm) but sometimes seems OK once we go to bed. He is in his room so I often wonder whether we are really noisy!
The other night he wouldn't settle so I let him sleep on me on the sofa and then in our bed that night - never heard a peep! Back in his room was another story - although like I say he seems OK last 2 nights!

EA - exceptionally cute!!! From what I gather on here having 10ozs in the freezer is brill :T

    Right, I'm off to bed!

    Hi Tigs!! :)

NMS - she hasn't slept well since she was 10 weeks old. I thought it was the 12 week growth spurt early but she just hasn't gone more than 2.5 hours since then . Like you say, we'll never know why, just gotta get through it best I can :o

Not too bad at mo but I will be working (from home thank goodness) a week on Monday so hope I don't make too many mistakes from sleep deprivation. It's funny, I don't feel tired during the day and don't want to nap (couldn't really) but at 3am it's just torture and I've fallen asleep twice in the rocking chair in C's room with her on my knee. That scares me more than anything!!

As has been said on here, it's just a phase - just a bl00dy long one for us :rotfl:
