Thanks for the idea Tia - he just had a bit of chicken, sweet potato mash and brocolli followed by banana & cookie crumble!

I'll try the roasted peppers and see how he goes

    sorry for quick post earlier

I just gave him plain chicken so he might respond better to a decent bit of flavour.

Maz - they all sleep differently. I was lucky that J used to sleep through at night and during the day but then I went through 8 weeks of hourly wake ups through the night AND little sleep during the day!

Today he's only had about an hour so has been thrown in his cot (not literally :p) to get some more!

ETA - Jam, C looks sooooooooooooooooo cute!

Imagine you are bursting for a pee, you didn't get to the loo because your 7 months old screamy girl wanted her milk like, yesterday. So you feed her then run up to the loo, run in and your jeans are about down before the door is even closed. Then look at the loo and note the full roll of toilet paper lying around the loo. Then slowly pull up your jeans as you close your eyes because you just know there is going to be another loo roll in the toilet *sigh* and a poo ofcourse. So you get a black bag and slowly, calmly inform the almost-5year old that he doesn't need a full toilet roll to wipe him bum, and that he should have called mummy to help when the water started to over flow from the toilet, wile you are doing this stub your toe (you still need a pee so you say a silent prayer to the Goddess of what your pelvic floor is like after 3 babies(pretty good actually)) and hop about while weeping. Put your hand down the loo with a rubber glove and obviously the water flows into the rubber glove as you fish out sodden loo roll, poo and god knows what else.

Finally you can use the loo and just as you are about to use it, your 8 year old runs in with his trousers undone, and parks his butt for an epic 10min poopathon (all the while telling you about some xbox or wii game).

So go get the 7 month old into a sleepsuit to keep your mind off your bladder (and stub your toe again for good measure), you hear the sound of the toilet flushing and by the time you sit down, that pee is better than all the drugs or alcohol or chocolate you wish you could scoff.

And then when you think it's safe cos they are all in bed (boys watching, well tv cos the almost 5 year old washed the DVD player) and the almost 5 year old has a nappy on again, it's not. Because the almost 5 year old does a poo in the nappy then goes into the bathroom and begins smearing it all over the toilet, bath and himself!

I really feel like giving him to someone I don't like right now. *deep calming breath - I love my child*

I love my child. I love my child. I love my child. I feel like throttling him, but I won't because I love him.... *shakes*

James asked for pizza for tea so we bought some this morning. One was a hot one with jalapeno chilli's on. Josh took a slice, then picked the chilli off saying it was too hot and put it on the side of his plate. Charlotte said "I'll have that", picked it up and ate it without flinching :rotfl:

He's in the huff now because everyone is singing "are you softer than a two year old" to the tune of the theme tune on "are you smarter than a ten year old" :o:rotfl:
Here I go again on my own....

Am I imagining that when he is teething his hair grows really fast?????
He got up this morning and I swear its twice as thick as it was yesterday!
