While we are on buggies does anyone have an opinion on the zia petite star? I'm contemplating one (going to try one out at mothercare then have a look on ebay if I can't find any obvious reasons not to get it).
I need something that fits in the car, has a shopping basket, doesn't handle like a tank, and preferably that is easy to fold too!Isabella Molly born 14th January 2009

No sorry GISI didnt make it there today but definately going tomorrow so I will check in store and let you know when I get back
Just checked my post in the Grabbit thread and someone has confirmed that it is in store as well so that makes them better than Tesco and Nettos for the wipes at the moment I guessMum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.0 -
Caz I keep forgetting to ask. Random link between coach built prams and fife but, anyway!
Not last yr but the one before, the girl that works the big chip/burger stand right at the start of the shows in Burntisland had twins sitting in their matching coach built prams with the wee leather harness/reigns on. The were so incredibly cute! Sitting up all blonde haired and wee chubby cheeks in the sunshine!
!!!!!!, I think I may be hankering after a coach built arrrrrrrrrggggggg!!!!!!
ETA: lol I was asking if you'd been to Burntisland and seen them, got a bit carried away! They were there all summer0 -
That sounds cute csh.
Thanks Maz, I'll grab some tomorrow.
LB- did you see 3's post about the reconditioned zia petite stars? I think they were £60.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

Oh, thankyouI was just copying the online shop I made last night with Tesco. Don't know why but I couldn't use the £12 off voucher I had so I intended to go tonight to get everything in person (and, ahem, possibly accidentially take a shortcut through the baby boys clothing..
). Will call in our Sainsburys too - can see Tesco and Netto from Sainsburys car park, and can see Asda from Tescos... it's so silly!

Hello again.
We've had a lovely day out, a quick wander around Manchester Gallery then to a few shops. If anyone local to Manchester needs BF bra's or vest's Blooming Marvellous is closing this Sunday and has got some really nice bits reduced. I got two vest's and a top for £28. They had some lovely maternity wear too, I was almost tempted to get some bits to put by for next time. I might go back on Sunday and see if anything's been reduced more.
Would anyone like a sachet of Hipp Goodnight milk? It came in the post today, let my fairies know if its any use to anyone.
I never got round to making cupcakes but I have made lasagne, one for tea and two for the freezer. I've fancied it for tea since SM mentioned it the other day. (but its not got beans in)
Jillie & SM - would I be able to meet you on Tuesday in Manchester please so we can head to TC together?Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -
Who is your course with Becles? I am doing an OU course and I have a project to resubmit that I just can't get motivated for.
It's with the OU. I've been doing a business degree that I started in Oct 2006 and hopefully I should be finished it in October this year. I've been doing 90 points a year, but was sick last year and missed the exams. At the moment I'm doing a 60 and a 30 point course, and have resit exams for the two courses from last year in April - mental times!
Reins: never been keen on them and never felt I needed to use them. If they play up I've perfected a technique where if you grab them round the wrist firmly with your hand, they can't wriggle free. I do that if they play up. Even the threat of it works now. I just say to Charlotte "pack it in or I'll have to drag you along by your wrist" and she says "nnnnooooooo don't drag her Mammy! Charlotte be good and walk properly now" :rotfl:
She's got no concept of "my" or "I" and refers to herself by name
Josh said he knows the coach driver who is in hospital from that bus crash yesterday. He sometimes drives their bus if the regular driver is off. It was a school coach, but there was only the driver left on it at the time of the accident. Still don't know what cause the accident as they haven't said.
Craig said he's not keen on the pipework so he's going to change it in the morning. I'm pleased as it'll be all hidden away now and will look neater.
Car has been in for an MOT and it failed. The front brake pipes are corroded and need replacing, and they discovered water has been getting in the back and short circuited a wiring circuit so some lights were not working (didn't know as I rarely go out in the dark!). That all needs rewiring, plus some minor things like a bald tyre and stuff. They were not able to give an idea of the price as their computer had gone down and they hadn't been able to work it out. I said just go ahead with the work tomorrow as I need the car back for work next week and the MOT runs out on Saturday.
Really fed up with that car. It's 7 years old and it cost me £500 to get it through it's MOT last year, then another £900 when it broke down. It's also got £800 of body work damage where someone crashed into it in a car park and drove off without leaving details, but I've never had the cash to fix that. I feel like setting fire to the stupid carHere I go again on my own....0
