Sorry, I haven't caught up yet but have a quick question. I've pulled something in my shoulder- the pain kept me awake half the night so I went to the pharmacy today to see what I can take for it while I'm BFing and they said only paracetamol. Not asking for medical advice, but has anyone had a similar thing while BFing and been able to take anything stronger? I really don't want to take up a Drs apt with it, but I will if that's the best way forward.

    Off to catch up now.

Have just registered with BizzieBabys and emailed them re: the Hazelwood necklaces. As I am one desperate mummy, as Alex has reflux and eczema as well as teething.
They have just rang me and said "they will see what they can do"

    :kisses3: for Sami.

I got an email back asking if there was a link between teething & reflux :o

    My hair looks fab :T:T:T

I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a fringe which I haven't had since school & I think it really frames my face. Hairdresser was fab but it's normally £40  so they are going to put me on the system for offers & stuff.

Tara - nice to see they have replied. I would recommend a meeting with them so if they don't answer stuff you can ask them to elaborate :)
Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo they took notice of my bit :j
    I've still got it :D

That's what I thought LB, but the pharmacist said no! I had voltarol in hospital, but they said no to that too! Maybe I'll call NHS Direct.

On the reins debate, I'm for them! I'd rather have H on reins (when the time comes) than risk him getting lost or in the road.

Tara- glad you got a reply and I agree with Glam that I would want to meet with them face to face too!

GP was able to prescribe something for my back/pelvis. I'd get an appointment.

Ooo, can I be a dissenting voice on reins? I may come to eat my words later in the life, but I think they're awful. Just reminds me of a leash on a dog and the thought of that on my child does not sit well. :o:o:o

you eBayers are kicking my butt into gear...just listed some mat clothes & going to do a pouch sling once Finn's gone to bed later.

    Piccies!!! Piccies!!! Piccies!!!

I was thinking about a meeting vs a letter (I would definitely not be fobbed off with a phonecall) and thought that I would rather have the opportunity to mull it over before I responded so a letter might be better (it means they actually have to write it down in black and white too). Maybe a minuted meeting?

Don't think there is a link, but i'm in no way medically trained. Alex had reflux, well before the teething kicked in. Don't they read the blurb on the stuff they are sending out for testing, it says Hazelwood is good for teething and reflux and many other things.

Glad you like your hair, fab to get pampered isn't it? What happened about the colour you put on and didn't like, has it settled down now?

But you put a dog on a lead to ensure it is safe, do you not want your child to be safe too? I would hate for my child to run into a road or to fall over and hurt himself when I could prevent him from harming himself.

(obviously of course you do - just don't understand your argument :o)
