beenie I'm siding towards pigpen, tell her it's been rough of late (and add but your still ok if you want?) Maybe she wasn't sure how to word it and got it a bit wrong because she's worried about you and spotted your eye/hair

and Elle, I hope you don't mind me saying this, but it makes you realise how scary it must have been for Craig and all the other OH's who were 'aware' when scary things were happening,

I thought exactly that myself when they whisked her away! Poor man must be terrified. :(

Tuesday night is now cry night! :o

Yes, pretty much. Although I'm actually glad they were more honest and straightforward in what they said to me - no "baby doesn't seem very happy, maybe try lying on your other side", they just said "baby isn't happy, he's coming out now!". I can't stand "false nice-ness" at anytime, let alone then :o

It was the bit when the bed was moving out the room and they were saying "love you" that got me.. I actually feel much worse for Craig because he didn't know what was happening (obviously neither did I but I was asleep, he was just left thinking/imagining).

I was going to say "someone remind me not to watch next week" but there's bound to be only one crash section on the whole series, isn't there!

pixiephoto i think they are just there to make mums part with their cash by charging ridiculous amounts! If you have a local college nearby give them a phone and ask if their students do pics, most of the time the sitting will be free and you will only have to pay for the prints! i know my photos were £3 each for 5x7.

weezl every child develops at their own rate and out of the blue fergus will be talking and wlaking and u will wonder where it has all come from! Kester will pick things up quicker as he will have someone to learn from! Does he repeat noises etc when you say them? erins fav just now is me whispering on the cat lol!!!

I just nipped to the Indian and the guy who owns it was chatting away, his wife had a baby 2 days ago but the babies breathing is very fast so they will not let her home. mum is home but very stressed and tearful so instead of being there to comfort her he is away to the casino ALL NIGHT!!!! needless to say i told him that i thought it was awful and he laughed at me then invited me out for the night!!!

Beenie.. maybe she is just one of those rare gems that come along when life is rock bottom and the world is treating you like crap.. tell her why you are stressed.. she may be the one person in the world who will help you fly right now!!

I wanted to say similar, but couldn't word it so well. It sounds like this friend wants to help, and it could be just what you need, honey.

I've sorted Katie's playgroup fine, but how the heck do you apply for school places? Does your local council send out forms etc or do you register interest with the school where you would like your child to go.

I am one very confuzzled parent.

I know what I need to get Katie into the school of choice just not how.

Pigpen maybe you're right and i'm just being overly defensive. She knows that my ex is an evil idiot etc, but i don't like to talk about him anymore cos she makes me feel bad about talking about him. Not meaning to, but she doesn't understand why i gave him the time of day. She doesn't have kids although she'd be a brill mam so i hope she does soon.

Sami she didn't spot my eye, it's not too noticeable it's just a dark shadow on the outer corner and i've got some concealer on

I'm a really crap friend to have, which explains why i have very few. She's always going somewhere, just on random days out to other towns and stuff and she sometimes asks me but i just prefer to hide in my little bubble. I feel all in a stress if i go anywhere when it wasn't meticulously planned, and i'm not totally comfortable with breastfeeding in public so i tend to use that as an excuse i think.
