Oh btw, i meant to mention this earlier.

There's a woman up the street who has a son my DS plays with. I asked her if she could have DS for half an hour next week so that i can go to parents evening.

She said yeah, and that she'd thought about asking me to have her DS last week for his parents evening too, but that she didn't seeing as i'm breastfeeding.

I was like, "what do you mean? I don't mind if he's there when i'm feeding at all."

She said "no but he might, it's like a bit dodgy innit?"

So i said "well no, i can cover up and if he asks i'll tell him that i'm feeding the baby.... it's natural after all, no?"

She looked at me like i was a total goon, and some sort of deranged freak because i would breastfeed Amber in front of her 7 year old son.

    It riled me tbh.

Yes, pretty much. Although I'm actually glad they were more honest and straightforward in what they said to me - no "baby doesn't seem very happy, maybe try lying on your other side", they just said "baby isn't happy, he's coming out now!". I can't stand "false nice-ness" at anytime, let alone then :o

It was the bit when the bed was moving out the room and they were saying "love you" that got me.. I actually feel much worse for Craig because he didn't know what was happening (obviously neither did I but I was asleep, he was just left thinking/imagining).

I was going to say "someone remind me not to watch next week" but there's bound to be only one crash section on the whole series, isn't there!
they chopped some out between lying on the left and the crash elle :) her bloke was in scrubs when they rushed her out so there was obviously a point were it wasn't 'so' urgent but that wouldn't be as dramatic
I've sorted Katie's playgroup fine, but how the heck do you apply for school places? Does your local council send out forms etc or do you register interest with the school where you would like your child to go.

I am one very confuzzled parent.

I know what I need to get Katie into the school of choice just not how.
you register interest with school now. council send forms around oct-dec, deadline for handing in the forms is jan/feb of the year she'll start in sept :)

Wow I managed to watch the whole of OBEM, for the first time! I usually flick onto it but can't keep it on.

Beenie - I'm a bit like that with not wanting to feed in public but you do feel tonnes better for getting out :)
And that mum, some people just don't get it! Its fab that your DS is seeing you feed because sub consciously it will be in his mind when he has babies to help his wife/lady to do it too :)

aw Harley, mine is the same size as yours :( sorry. Will check out what size they are on Thursday and see if there are any bigger ones. Did you get the cardboard photoframes to put them in ?? I think for a pressie, that is nice enough and then give a keyring with it and if the recipient wants to trim t down they can, or they can reframe it if they prefer !!

Thanks anyway honey. They didn't come with any frames (cardboard or otherwise), just sheets of photos. I even had to cut them to size myself.

Just looked at their price list and at the bottom in very small print it says ** Image display size is 70x45mm. 3.5"x2.5" portrait has to be trimmed by you to fit accessories.
Well I'm a bl00dy engineer and I struggled to do that conversion on the spot with my baby brain. But I was only given that leaflet along with my receipt, which was after I asked if they fitted and was told that yes of course they did - that's what they are for.

Ooooh, I'm working up a full head of steam ready for tomorrows phone call.

This is going to sound really selfish in a way, but one of the girls I work withs Dad has fibrosis of the lungs and so is on permanent ozygen at the minute til he can get a lung transplant and she was telling everyone today that because his O2 levels are dropping htere is a chance his muscles will break down and he wont have full movement afterwards if any at all in some limbs as though this is the first time anywone had ever heard of it ... and I just couldnt stop thinking that I told them all that was what was wrong with Dylan and they havent seemed to grasp it, but yet with her dad everyone seemed so concerned for him.:(
That sounds bad doesnt it ??
I know Dylan isnt going to be that bad cuz he has come on loads, but at the time when I told them all we didnt know how bad he was going to be ..

Ahhh... I'm rubbish at spotting continuity gaffs! ;) No scrubs for Craig. There was talk of "if you need a section" he might be able to come in, then to "if it's a GA" he wouldn't be, and finally to "get in theatre under GA, now!" rather quickly.

Yes, I heard the word "fighter" lots, and we all love a fighter! ;):D

Someone watch it at normal time and I'll watch it on +1 if you're not all crying wrecks by the end, deal? ;)
