It was when I was pregnant that I was seeing them all the time - I think my pregnancy increased my medical records by about 25%. (I counted but can't remember the exact figure.)

    poor you :(

Has your research into liver function got you anywhere in your thinking?

Before I got pregnant, I had been to the doctors twice in my life, once for a chest infection at age 7 and again at 16 about my chronic ear infections.

After I got pregnant, I think it's went up by about 1000000%, never out of the place :D

the not walking or talking were commented on, so DH is a little worried :(
Alice only just started walking just after twelve months and wasn't talking yet and there's a very wide normal range for both of those so I'm suprised it was particularly commented on. Walking is 9-24 months, not sure what talking is but think it's fairly similar.

    I was surprised too!

the health visitor was being observed though, so I wondered if she was trying to impress them?

I think vitamin B6 deficiency is probably the most likely as this is known to be caused by pregnancy and known to cause anaemia, impair liver function, affect glucose regulation and have a link with nausea and vomiting in pregnancy. Given that I also had anaemia and impaired glucose tolerance during pregnancy I think it is the most likely cause. My intention is (despite my general aversion to artificial supplements) to take a multi B vitamin supplement from about a month before starting TTC. (Am also intending to see GP about it nearer the time.) I am also trying to be organised before TTC just in case.

Weezl - I had to wait aaaaaaaaages for Katie to start talking and had myself convinced that she wouldn't ever speak. I was told as long as there is understanding from the baby the speech will happen.

ah how random. I take it you didn't do the sensible thing and put senders details on it then :p I put my details on a label with a pic of a bumble bee that says bee happy :D
I had one of these today. Thank you sooo much to Sami's fairies, I'll try her with it tomorrow and hope that I have more luck now. Yesterday she took barely an ounce in 8 hours, although she ate all her lunch. I've given her a bottle to play with so it's not so strange to her and it went straight in her mouth. It's just when it's got liquid in it she is not so keen.

    Thank you again.

    Beenie, amber looks gorgeous.

Trying to catch up on last few pages but think K is teething so not having the best of times at the mo.

    Evening everyone,

    Congratulations Kindof.

Beenie - Amber is beautiful, and well done for reporting ex-oh.

I started to be a regular GP attendee when I was 22 and was diagnosed with PCOS, it seemed like I was always there for some blood test or appointment.

I've just booked a holiday for June to Exmouth, Katie wants to go NOW!
