I really must make an effort and go to a mother and baby group. I have booked H into baby massage so that is a start but the course that had space wasn't until may.
I went to my local group when i had ds1 but all the woman knew each other and no matter how hard i tried they wouldn't let me in there gang.
My friends now haven't had anything to do with me much since i had H. They are not intrested since i have had him as they are just getting their life back as the kids are now at school. They go out for lunch and the kids play after school but we never get asked. I go to school drop off ds1 come home don't see anyone then go back to pick ds up and come back home. I only see hubby which is all but brief before bed.
Ds1 has had his friends over a few times but the offer is never returned so i stopped offering. If i didn't make the effort and ask my friends to do stuff once in a while i don't think they would bother to ask.
I asked my friend this morning if she would like to go to a soft play area after school and she said no she is already going some where else with another mum. It is silly but i was quite upset, Not just for me but i feel my DS1 is missing out on friends too.
Just feeling a bit like i always get left out or miss out on things, My sister in law to be hasn't invited me to her hen night but my sister-in law is going. This is my signature!0 -
Aww Jedward
Don't tell my DS, he'll cry!
I'm ok today SS, i finally braved brushing my hair properly last night so i'm not leaving a trail of it everywhere anymore :rotfl:
Almost done with the glossing. I've done 5 door frames and 1 door, winowsill and skirting. Just one more door but Amber is kicking off when i put her in the bouncer so i have to do it in little segments lol!
This is her about 2 mins agoLook at her scratches, grr - she has sharp nails no matter how much i cut them

Aw elasti - hugs.
Remind me, where are you again?
I'd recommend your local surestart centre - there is usually some type of play session. Does your library offer rhyme time?
I must admit, I haven't made any Mummy friends in from any of the group, but I found just getting out of the house to be a big help.0 -
Aww Elastigirl, it's horrible to feel like you're alone. Try other groups and I'm sure you'll find some lovely mummies
Beenie, she's lovely. Her eyes are stunning.
I've been trying to get OH to help me book this boogery holiday for about five days now and he keeps mysteriously vanishing. I'm considering just booking it and telling him afterwards.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
