I'm perilously close to being obsessed with OBEM, but I'm watching again and can't help feeling so impressed with the 17-year-old father - he's being so supportive compared with some of the "mature" parents that they've shown so far.

I watched that one today and said the same to OH. He seemed like a lovely young guy
OH thinks we should wait a while longer and ring cos there is no mega pattern?>

When I wasn't sure, I phoned the hosp and had a wee chat and they told me to take paracetamol and have a bath. I was back on the phone 3 hrs later and they told me to come up. Hospital at 9pm and baby at 2.15am! I told you the other day my contractions never settled into a pattern!!!!!
The 3 in 10 minutes is as mythical to me as MS stopping at 12 wks and 'glowing' at any point in pregnancy

Kindof.. if you are distressed at all I'd go up to the hospital.. they cannot refuse you once you are there and will monitor baby and contrax and examine you and see what your body is up to.. They might be after discouraging you from going if they are busy but could do all the above on the antenatal ward. As for OH.. he'd be wearing matching earrings if he were mine!!

Kindof, my contractions didn't have a pattern. I timed a few and they were really weird. But i called and they could tell by my voice i was in labour lol.
