    Hiya! xxx

Elle, OH is here and has a question for you...

as you deal with HR have you ever come across a problem with the appearance and hygiene of an employee, and how do you deal with it? Ta muchy! :D

    Cheeky sod ain't he? :o

Anything in the contract about general appearance?
We've had a few things come up facial piercings, non ironed uniform, coming in with NO uniform! and some 'smells'
Always had a quick word, if no change then a firm word then we go down the verbal then written warning route. (not for the smell one lol)
Don't know about the legalities but a quiet word would be my first port of call.

  • Elle  for stoopid physio assistant. Teach Rhys to slap her round the chops in 2 weeks time ;)

pinkpig - hugs for you. Can I ask if you think it is being left with anybody that C is upset with or is it the CM that she has problems with? Have you considered looking for a different CM or maybe a nursery? She may just not feel comfortable? I dunno, just if B wasn't settled then I would maybe look to move him elsewhere.

Weezl :rotfl:at GP looking for John Woolley!! I knew a JW years ago, he was a lovely man!! How bizarre are people that they shorten names without even knowing the person? I would be very confused if the doctor called me Steph....

Oh, I meant to comment on the whole Dr thing earlier... Aimee's paediatrician rang once and when I answered the phone he just said "Dr Sahota" I told him he had a wrong number... Then he asked if I was Aimee's Mum... Fancy answering the phone with his own name... Like I'd know who he was!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

My dad has notes all over his doctor stuff saying to call him Jackie as that is what he has been known as all his life even though his name is John, and when he was getting his leg amputated I went up to Belfast hospital to see him and asked where Jackie K was and got told they didnt have a patient of that name .... took me a while to ask for John !! lol
