Used it every night with DS1 for about 2 years. He went in his cot awake and fell asleep before it ended. (It has a 5 min and 10 minute option and you can choose between two different songs, Twinkle Twinkle and Beautiful Dreamer. Teddy bears go round on the ceiling).
There are more expensive ones out their but this was loved by Joe.
Also used it for the first time with Alex last night. First time i have manged to get him to go to sleep in his cot by himself. So looks like its a fave of Alex too.
Edit: You can also switch if off at anytime. (For MFD's benefit)
Thank you very much, I will talk to OH tonight but I think I will ask Aunty Dot to get us one of them
SM he will be in the tubes or unable to hear it xxx I am sure they are fine, do you know what hotel they are staying EDIT I see all is ok lol

SM, glad the mystery is solved
I'm just off the phone to the community police offer who is going into the school tomorrow or Friday to speak to them. Why do I feel all embarrassed about calling the police about school bullying?
Oh and my Makaton book arrived! DS2 aint happy, he likes to make up silly signs and try to convince me they mean crisps or dance...0 -

I was lucky with the first two. They both came at 37 weeks and I was active right until birth. I even painted the kitchen ceiling the day before Joshua was born - huge nesting instinct going on and I spent most of the pregnancy doing DIY
Was poorly when I had Charlotte and started with SPD pains around 16 weeks than got worse, then developed polyhydramious (way too much amniotic fluid) and severe swelling on my legs and hands. By about 32 weeks, my ankles were about the size of my thighs and had no movement at all in them, I couldn't get any socks or shoes on, and I had limited movement in my knees. I was practically bedridden as I just couldn't move. She came at 36 weeks and after 4 weeks of laying around, I was so pleased she arrived early!
So I know how you must be feeling, just hanging around waiting for something to happen.
*good blood* vibes for Poppie and *hugs* to all who need them.
It's a lovely sunny day out there and warmer than it has been. Have got the bairns bed linen out on the line (no mention of sticky sheets today!) and the dogs beds, dog towels and doormats are in the machine at the moment. Just been for a lovely walk and was really enjoying the sunshine, but we had to cut it short because Charlotte wet herself. This toilet training is doing my head it! It's so much more difficult with her than with the boys. Will swop *hugs* for *dry knicker* vibesHere I go again on my own....0 -
