    Come on Poppie!! xxxxx
 Weezl! Hope you're both OK xxx

SM - I'm really sorry but I think I'm going to have to give MH a miss next week :( Was supposed to be taking C with me on Monday but she's going to CMs instead to try and get over this separation anxiety. She'l be going there Weds afternoon too, and I don't want to jeapordise any progress we may make (fingers crossed). But when I go back to work I'll be off on Wednesday and would love to come and meet you again :)

Loving the pics from yesterday - so many handsome/pretty babies!

Am sat here on my own having left Caitlyn screaming with the CM. She quietened down a little whilst CM and I were talking, but started again if either of us started talking to her. I gave her a kiss, CM picked her up and they waved me off. She's supposed to be there for 2 hours but CM has suggested keeping her longer to help get her used to it.

PP, she will get used to it, I agree about leaving her longer, backwards as it seems. All it will take is for her realise that if she settled down she can enjoy some fun time and mummy will still come back anyway.

Yes, Weezl! Don't you go deserting us all! We loves you xx

I'm starting to see a bit of a theme here. Do you have a thing about skulls?

Erm, now you mention it possibly! Isla has a few babygrows with skulls on too, I think it's just because we're not really into cutesy baby stuff and OH taste is a bit alternative. He's still trying to get her a cyberdog uv babygrow for festival season :rotfl:
I am slightl confused though cos as I was laying on the MW bed yesterday she felt me have a contraction as she was touching my belly, and she said can you feel it, and all I could feel was an ever so slight tightening

When I went to my term + 4 appt they asked had I felt any twinges etc and I replied I hadn't. I mentioned to the midwife I hadn't felt much movement that morning though compared to usual and they sent me straight to the day unit for assesment. The trace machine was picking up tightenings every 25 mins and I couldn't feel a thing! They offered me a sweep and I was already 3cms, (it was slightly uncomfortable but not unbearable so don't be scared if your offered a sweep) My contractions started up properly that night and Isla was born early hours the next day :)

Positive vibes for Poppy x x

I hope weezl and fergie are ok, has her OH been online at all do we know? (is it acetate monkey?)

I am just getting a quick drink and catch up, before i am needed again.
I am having a right day of it here again. H was unsettled in the night but hubby got up the most with him which really helped but i have jsut rang him and he sounds like a zombie bless him. He hasn't been too bad cried a bit then had an hr sleep in his moses basket but woke up and was major sick just spend the last hour and half bathing, creaming, changing him and cleaning up the moses basket. He keeps being sick ever since he had the camera down him but this was the worse he had been he couldn't stop and it was coming out his nose. It's no wonder he isn't feeling right, the camera was the normal one that adults have so it was far too big for him but the doc said the hospital can't get funding for a smaller one for babies and children.

Does anyone have one of those things that shines pictures on the ceiling from the cot??

OH wants one for the nursery, we havent got one yet cos he wont be in the nursery straight away but my aunty was asking for a present idea?

So if you have got one do you use it much, is it good? any recomendations?

    Tomy Starlight Dreamshow. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Tomy-2008-Starlight-Dreamshow/dp/B00020IPDW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=baby&qid=1268227334&sr=8-1

Used it every night with DS1 for about 2 years. He went in his cot awake and fell asleep before it ended. (It has a 5 min and 10 minute option and you can choose between two different songs, Twinkle Twinkle and Beautiful Dreamer. Teddy bears go round on the ceiling).

There are more expensive ones out their but this was loved by Joe.

Also used it for the first time with Alex last night. First time i have manged to get him to go to sleep in his cot by himself. So looks like its a fave of Alex too.

Edit: You can also switch if off at anytime. (For MFD's benefit)
