I was really hoping when the pregnancy hormones that give women thick lovely locks kicked in I might actually grow some hair but noooo, stupid alopecia! Oh well, I'm at the dermatologist again next week. I'm thinking of going blonde again :D

Yes it's a church school. James leaves in July and hopefully Charlotte will start nursery this September and full time school next September. The nursery is connected to the school. The other teachers are really nice, especially the infants ones.

    That's a good story :rotfl:
    ...
I bet she'll get in fine, as I understand it its the LEA that picks who gets in, they just match up who has met the criteria that the school gives them and then tell the school who's in

...Lovely meet but spolit by the fact I ended up on the hard shoulder in tears on the phone to the police :o

I pulled into the fast lane doing about 80mph to overtake some car in the middle lane and this t**t in a big car comes flying up behind me doing about 100mph, flashing his lights and gesturing at me. So I passed the car and pulled over but gave him the finger as he drove past. The A-hole slams on the brakes and started driving into my lane trying to push me into the lorry next to me
I let him go but at some roadworks he slowed right down between 2 lorries and then when it went back to 70mph he roared up behind me flashing his lights. I pretended to come off at the next junction and he was flashing his lights and pointing for me to pull over so at the last minute I pulled into the middle lane and he carried on following me

I just rang the police and when he saw me on the phone he raced off so I pulled onto the hard shoulder.

What a K N O B. Police can't do anything but have put his reg plate out on alerts, I saw an ambulance fly past 5 minutes later and secretly hoped he had crashed and been set on fire :D (I know that sound bad but I don't care) I clearly had Baby on Board signs up but he tried on more than one occasion to ram me off the road.

Can't tell OH cos he will go mad and probably stop me driving anywhere again!
 poor you xxx something similar but not quite as bad happened to me when pg with Chris, it was on the lancs so I drove straight to ILs (OH still lived there) when I got there OH was on the drive and I got out the car in hysterics, he cr*pped himself thought I was losing the baby or something :o
I don't get how someone can be so evil over nothing.

CM says she's happy to keep going for now, but is just worried that when it comes to her going properly it'll be the easter hols and she won't be able to give Caitlyn her full attention all the time because of the other children, whose parents also pay her to look after them. I don't think a nursery would make any difference TBH. It's the fact that I'm not there, not who she's with. She's quite happy to sit and play whilst I'm there, but just starts crying the minute I leave. I just don't know how long to persevere for.
don't know if these ideas are any good but...
Does the CM carry her around? could she try using a/your sling? do you think having a photo/video/cd of you (embarrassing as it could be) would comfort her?
Maybe you and CM could wear a chime ball necklace, if she is used to the sound coming from you then she might be ok with the same sound coming from CM
sorry if they sound stupid :o

  • Hey peeps, glad you all had a good time today!
Well I have a very poorly sick bubba, he threw up in the night and has been very poorly all day, haven't been able to do much.
I took him to the docs to be on the safe side and it's a viral infection as I thought.
Then to top it off the school called me to inform me that A had been sick, then when I got there it turns out he was coughing so much it made him sick, so he's technically not ill, thank god!

My first day of me 'diet' has gone really well considering, and I'm jst about to tuck into a bowl of strawberries covered in virtually fat free vanilla yougurt......yummers! x
