Glad you all had a good time today :)

Fernlie - thanks for the reassurance re: BFing and co-sleeping. I've been reading up about separation anxiety on the internet and the ones I've read say that it's good that we've formed a special bond, and that the closeness helps them feel secure and become confident. I think I just felt as if the CM was hinting that maybe it was because we co-slept that she doesn't like me being away from her. She asked if it was possible for me to stay away for a night and leave her with DH. Well the answer unfortunately is no. There is no way she would sleep - well maybe for an hour but then when she stirs she would wake herself up because I wouldn't be there to comfort her back to sleep. She is upstairs in bed now, and I cried when I was laying with her - I feel a bit of a failure, and that it's my fault she's so unhappy when I'm not there. I really don't want to give up my job - I can't afford to for one, but I don't know where this will end up going :(

No they don't sound stupid Sami. CM won't wear a sling because she has a bad back. She will carry her round for a while but, rightly, says that the other children need her too and Caitlyn needs to know that she can't have her undivided attention the whole time. She says she wants to do her best for me because I'm a friend as well as a customer, and although she didn't directly criticise anything I was doing, I think the way I'm feeling meant I took it personally.
