I don't want to scare you, but I got my period before spots or hair... and also it was majorly gross, they said it would be blood, they did not say it would rust coloured grass looking stuff. It honestly looked like rotten grass, nobody warned me about that and I was so shy that I didn't tell anyone, I just used my huge doctor whites the school gave us after that film with jimmeny cricket. And thought I was going to die.0

Noooooo - i don't want to tell her about all the horrible stuff that comes with being a girl! I want her to stay 9.
I really should do it soon. I always remember my Nanna telling me that nobody told her anything, and one day she found she was bleeding and she thought she was dying!:beer:0 -

I was in P7 so had atleast had the film at school. Plus my mum left a book on my bed once.
I'm bricking it too, I can barely look DH in the eye if I have some reason to tell him it's that time. Really have a huge hang up on it, better get that sorted before Amber gets to that age.
Hmmm, what stuff would I like to have been told?
It's not just blood, there can be bits in it too.
A walk helps if you have bad cramp.
Take painkillers to school because they won't give you any.
And then hope your mother will actually buy the things you need instead of having to make do with loo roll till you had money of your own.0 -
