I gave blood on my 17th birthday and every time i got my call up letter right until I was pregnant with Charlie - think its about 20 donations so far. Now Reece is 11months I can donate again must look at next date.
My mum & dad also donate, Dad is somewhere around 60+ donations and mum is around 40+ now:heart2: Charlie born Aug 2007 :heart2: Reece born May 2009

IME they make it really difficult to give blood - I'm willing to do it but I'm not that determined. Twice I was turned away because they were too busy, twice I tried but my iron was too low to donate but not low enough for the doctors to care, then I was anemic enough to actually be ill so there was no point in trying. Next time I tried they were too busy and then they introduced a booking system. I booked an appointment but then they decided to cancel it. My sister has managed to get from India to Nice and is trying to get to Paris in the morning to get over t London, but all of the French train drivers went on strike today !!!!!The two best things I have done with my life
