How scary! I clicked through and of the six members displayed, one is my brother and another is one of OH's university friends who lives two minutes walk from us.

:rotfl: Susan, one of them on my clickthrough page is my brother - I think they display friends and friends-of-friends first.

Although I'm glad my brother is taking an interest in politics.

    :eek::eek::eek:

    That really shocks me Sami.

I do not for a second want to start a debate about politics but I would have thought you would be someone who is interested and wanted to exercise their right.

I give my staff time off to go and vote because I believe it is important that they should.

I'm surprised too! Sami, I really thought you would have voted.

I always tell OH around election time he will have no right to moan about tax & government stuff if he can't be bothered to vote but he always says his one little vote won't change anything.
I vote & then have a good old moan about everything! :rotfl:
Why are you shocked? Do I give off some kind of vibe?
I've never voted ever - lazy!

Well any vote that is not for one of the 2 parties that could possibly get in is a complete waste of a vote so you may as well not bother.. it has only been a 2 horse race for the last 100 years.. it is no different this time!!

Gordon Brown is pig ugly and Cameron is just too sleazy.. couple of years we will be hearing all about his sordid little affairs with his secretaries!.. At least that won't happen with Brown lol.. *shudders at the thought*
    erm John Prescott anyone? :rotfl:

SS you're right, it always displays people it thinks you know first :)

John Prescott is a fabulous guy.. honestly.. he is sensible, practical, down-to-earth and alarmingly normal!!

Local MP's make no difference.. the local councillors can but only becaus ethey influence where the local budget is being spent.. in which case the LD's are total morons!

And they may like to try to convince us there are 3 with a chance.. in the real world that isn't true.

Aless - i'm up for meeting at ikea (always i can pick you up on route:)) just depends on the day! Can't do fri or mon.

I get paid on Monday so any day is good after that! Can't do Tues - how about Weds Thursday? A lift is always good but it's not too much faff for me to get to so don't worry if you can't. Aless - am I imagining it or do you live Streatham way, you can get the tram from mitcham junction and I think there are quite a few trains from there to Mitcham Junction.

Liking those voting tools, backed up what I was thinking - although a bit disturbed that I have quite a high result for the BNP

Yup can get a train to Mitcham Junc but involves changing. DH's work is a bit off kitler at the moment so won't wait to see what's going on with him. Jenny, you around? Weds/Thurs are good for me.
