I hope it's okay to take your child with you though - maybe I should check that.
I took L with me last time, and she loved it. But she's a bit strange that she loves blood/needles, anything vile really!
After they took the needle out, covered with a cotton wool ball, she asked for a look at the hole. I didn't realise it'd still be pumping/squirting out!
I love that so many of you and/or children have received blood. (Obviously not happy that you've needed it iykwim!). But it's nice to know real people who've benefited.
I had a major crisis earlier.
I've got my speed awareness driving course tomorrow, and dug out the letter which told me I MUST take both parts of my license, or I won't be able to take part and will have to re-book/pay again. I couldn't find my paper bit anywhere.
I'd put it somewhere safe.
Whilst looking for it, I found an envelope containing £6 that J had hidden from me a couple of months ago :T, and the replacement straps for V's garden swing which I couldn't find at the weekend. :T
I eventually found it, in the little plastic wallet behind OH's.
I've got to be there at 8am  so i'm trying to get as much stuff as possible organised for OH in the morning. He's never done a morning on his own. :rotfl::beer:0 -
Am I right in thinking you have to have given blood to be on the bone marrow register?I joined the Bone Marrow register a few years back, but it seems rare to match anyone.

I am :rotfl: at those pics. For anyone unsure about voting for David Cameron, this website might help: http://www.mydavidcameron.com

I think the "I haven't voted Torys because I'm Scottish" actually sums up every Scottish persons opinion on them (Except my friend Alex who actively campaigns for them - and on that note, I'm away to spam his FB with the pics from that website)0 -

But didn't you say you would be happy to work full time if you could get it? Doing all the stuff I mentioned before would make you a prime candidate to move into a full-time job either doing what you are now or as a supervisor.
Even if there's no obvious reward at the end of the tunnel you should still try to better yourself in your own job. Learning new skills will make you more confident and knowledgeable for when you go for any other job plus you'd get an excellent reference.
I know I'm probably harping on a bit but you should you want to get on in life so I'm trying to think of ways you can do it without going to college

I still haven't figured out what's best to do about DS birthday next week...
I know i'll be getting him a bigger bike, but i want to try him out on an 18 and a 20 although i'm pretty sure he'll need the 18... But he doesn't know he's getting a bike yet and i've not managed to discreetly happen to pop in Halfords with him
So i dunno whether to just go for it and have it as a surprise, or what??
It's on a Monday too so he'll be at school all day0 -
I have rare blood
AB Positive
I'll try and give blood before I get my tatt done as that will be another year to wait!
Had a nightmare getting J off to sleep tonight - have put his duvet over him tonight in an effort to see if that helps. *Shrugs*
