When we went on holiday at 13 weeks size 2 was too small but we didn't use them after the first week so don't know how long exactly they lasted. Probably depends on baby and nappy brand though.

Yep did it as soon as I got home!
It was already fitted up so just a case of zipping footmuff on and putting canopy on.

I did have a nightmare putting it back down because I hadn't clicked it into place properly when I put it up so the handle wouldn't pull up cos it was already up IYSWIM.

It's very red :cool: and you can't get to the basket easily when its in recline position but its light and fits in the car very easily.

Um, yes. Had forgotten (even though Fritha only reminded me yesterday!) but I've seen one of my friends today and am seeing them again tomorrow so they can do without me on Weds.

MFD - glad you've got something to tide you over for a few months, they always say its easier to get a job when your in a job.

Just remembered that for TC I can discount £100 every week for the first 30 weeks so that means I only earnt £13 not £16 - so perhaps we might just get something!
Means we might just drop down to the next bracket for last year but not going to get my hopes up!

Can I just say that I would love to get the income you do when you take your tax creidits into it as you get the same n TC as I do in my wage and I work damn hard full time for it !!
Not your fault, its the government deciding that full time working parents arent worth as much as everyone else

Gill, I wouldn't stock up - you don't know which brand will fit your baby best till you have the baby. We had loads of Huggies and my monster ended up with perpetual butt rash from them, but other people swear by them.

Boo, do you have a picture of your tiger lily? I'm hoping it was just a horrible tattoo I saw and not an indictment of foot tattoos in general ... so I can get a new one after all ...

No one just hands us the money for nothing. My OH works damn hard for his money 4/5 12hr shifts a week. Hard, heavy engineering work. Not much of a dream come true when you're inside an industrial oven sweating blood for your wage.

Ive worked where I work for 12 years to get my wage, wont be though when I go back YAY lol

Kindof, there's quite a few character differences and season 2 plotline is loads different to the book... You should definitely read them if you have them!

Glam, you can't get to the shopping baskets on most buggies when they're reclined... You can generally shove small things through the gap at the side though... And the best way to fold them I always found was to keep your foot on the lever that you have to push down at the side and shove the handles forward (And when you put it up, stand on the back to make sure it clicks down into place...)

Gamer was OK... No oscar winner but better than the box... Easier to follow anyway...

thatmaybe so but i would happily give up anything to do with goverments (ive already got rid of benefits) if it meant i had a steady income my job is far from secure and i would work more hours if i could hence looking for a second job .. most of you are in salary thats something im so far from its beyond a joke .. philip doesnt work (despite trying) ... but if one of us work 40 hours or so a week for us to get by one of us would have to give up work for good to look after the kids premnantly ..

sorry but ive had the exact same discussion at work and i was made to feel terrible as i only work part time (despite asking to go full time but theres no hours from work) and get TC .. i would love to not relie on TC but sadly i could not survive without them or i have to go back on to benefits x

It was very raunchy!

And yes they do stink really bad - it gets better! Well, it does and then they start on food and its minging again

Agree with the above.
I have worked really hard to get where I am today and OH has a degree and a masters which he worked hard for - I work full time and often take work home with me to ensure I hit all my targets.

I'll get sod all in tax credits even though I'll have lost £9k in wages and I lose well over £700 every month to Tax, NI, student loan & pension.
Getting a little bit of it back would have been nice

I'm not that fussed about the basket really - I was being a right moron trying to put it down and was panicking I was gonna break it
I shall remember to stand on the back bit tomorrow - plan to walk to Tiny Stars as we are having a party cos its the last one.

Oh and the footmuff goes really high - like right up to Jack's head - he loved playing peekaboo :rotfl:
