Natalie - I would definitely use that squishy flooring if I was doing a play area, not only do you get the cats pooing in the bark, you have to buy more every year to top it up because it blows away and also disintegrates...what your doing sounds lovely:)

I have just ordered our turf and blue crushed slate for around the decking at the back...we are also seperating the patio so the dog will be confined to the patio and not allowed on the grass:D no room for a seperate play area though so swing and trampoline will be on the grass (maybe;))

Sami - Sounds a nightmare, with TC's....if they had you down as JSA 'on top' of your dh's income then it may well work out you owe them! If they had you down as JSA but with no other income then you shouldn't owe them anything as you would be entitled to the maximum!! I really think you need to give them a ring asap.... I hope you get it sorted out.

Does anyone know enough about TC's to know if you get more if in receipt of income based JSA? I might be gearing up for a fight that doesn't exist, maybe they owe us even ???
off to find the calculator thing I think.

Sami: Income based isn't counted as earnings but contribution based is. So if they have put you down as income based you will be getting overpaid by TC's. I had the same problem and if you look on making a complaint about overpaid TC's there is the criteria you have to meet for them to not claim the overpaid amount from you.

Unfortunately they did exactly the same to me. Fortunately i noticed when they sent the revised notice though, rang them and they said it didn't make any difference (damn stupid phone monkeys!), end of yr notice said overpaid by £1200! I argued it and the amount got written off as I told them the details were wrong and they didn't correct it.

Was going to ask your opinion too.....

We went to B&Q this morning, after dropping off the kids got there at about 9.20am and had to be back near home by 10.25 to go to Gymbabes, so had probably 45mins to spend in there looking at garden stuff and picking up a few bits, like a new garden fork, some concrete to stick some bricks back on a wall and just generally have a look round to see if we needed/wanted anything else....anyway we got there and dh started going on about looking at some concrete sealant for his mate....he ended up spending nearly half an hour looking at them and reading the backs of the pots and then finding a roller/brush and bucket to use with it...so that left us 15mins to look at our stuff and pay...I just stormed of and told him to forget it, I don't want the garden stuff etc.etc. and just went and got in the car...
So upshot is, we can't continue with our garden, yet he will be quite happy to go and help his mate do his floors!! He is blaming me, saying if I hadn't of sulked off then we could have still got what we needed but I think he should have picked our stuff first, then if we still had time then we could have looked at his mates sealant.......which btw we have paid for and aren't getting the money back for, also his mate wasn't even bothered about it as he is getting his carpets in next week!!!!

Do you think I am being unreasonable?

Mazc the renew things get sent in batches aparently, mine came today.

one of the many annoying things is there's no figures on the thing  It says OH works 40hpw, I'm getting IB JSA and Chris is at a CM that costs nothing.

I'm only gonna call 2mo after I've got my paperwork ready (nee kids in bed really to find it all) I'm sure I would have noticed a mistake but it was sent when Ed was tiny so I wasn't exactly on my best form mentally then.

Afternoon... Just had a little play on that tax credits calculator... I'm worried about how much we're going to lose when Caitlyn turns 1... Don't think it will be too bad though... But then you can never tell what they're going to pay can you...

Have you called them yet Sami?

I'm a bit annoyed anyway... I walked Aimee and her friend back from school, Aimee wanted to play at her friends house but I had to get back home sharpish because that woman was supposed to be coming to collect the stuff so I had to leave Aimee behind when I would normally just stay for a cuppa and a gossip... The woman rang me at the time I was expecting her to come to tell me that she wasn't coming, someone else is and she hasn't been in touch with me at all... And to top it off, Caitlyn's fallen asleep... She's bound to wake up when I transfer her to the pram to go and fetch Aimee!!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

No sounds totally reasonable to me. But I am a stroppy cow :D
Sounds like most men though, everyone else comes first.

I just bought these and these . Just need my little 'un to actually get up off his backside so he can show the off, when the sun actually reappears.

Oh balls, and now I have just noticed i've bought the wrong flipping size in one of them. Off to contact the seller.

Thanks WM, it always seems that way! I'm sure he does put us first, but at times like that it is hard to remember when....It's so annoying because we have loads of prep to do before going away on Saturday and could have got a good start today, kai slept for over 2hrs after gymbabes:)
