Morning, I was wondering if I could ask a quick question? At what ages do babies/toddlers have development checks? Elliot is 19 months old now, and was wondering when his next one will be? I want to make sure he's ok development wise (he's either slow at certain things, or my friends kids are genius's!).

    Thank you.

Same here, very grey and scabby. Going to Argos for some blackout blinds for the front bedrooms and thats about as exciting as it gets!

Glam: forgot to ask yesterday, have you been to see about J's car seat?

Not been out yet in the car yet - when I do I'll go & get it sorted.
Been tempted to just change it myself tbh

    morning :D

    gorgeous photos last night

Glam- may meet is great. not a tuesday or Friday as i'll be working :(

What about Wednesday May 19th at that playcentre again?

The first week is out for me as IL's are coming up - my Dad's coming up on the 13th plus I have to fit in J's settling in sessions at the Creche.

J drained 5ozs at Dream Feed but still woke at 3am and then wanted a bottle at 6.30am!
I did suggest to OH putting the cot back in our roon with the side off and have him right next to the bed but OH was his usual muted self over the matter!

Fitzio - gorgeous pics. Love the hat.
I'm getting annoyed that there is so much choice of girls clothes but boys clothes are generally pap!

J has just eaten most of his Weetabix - first time in about a week!

Where does the time go?

It seems to vary from area to area - I thought there was an 18 month check.
You'd probably be best asking your HV - I meant to ask the other day when our next one is but forgot :o

Keely, there's a page in our red book (don't think they're all the same though) for a check between 18-24mths :)

I haven't actually seen a HV for a long time, the old one left and there wasn't a new one there full time. I'll have to go and find out i guess :o He hasn't one for ages, so I was hoping there would be one due soon to put my mind at ease about a few issues.
