MM, apparently loads of people in Calais are bribing car drivers with wine, spirits and cigarettes to get a place in their cars ;)

  • Morning folks.

Absolutely gorgeous pics of Holly, Jack, Edward, Katie, Benjamin and Charlotte. Sorry if I've missed anyone else out, but I forget which I've seen on FB and which on here.

We had an awesome time at Chitty Chitty Bang Bang last night. It was so fun. Also had a lovely meal at Prezzo, so it's back on the diet today. I am definitely feeling like my clothes fit better already after two weeks on SW, so I am very impressed.

Not sure what we're doing today. Should do some work in the garden as it is a state, but I really feel like going for a family picnic as it's our only day all off together and the weather is lovely.

    Morning everyone
Not raining here, but very cold so no day out for us. Mum and Dad are coming over for lunch later though so I will get some tidying done before they get here.

MM, look for flights from Dublin. There are loads every day and it's not too hard to get to from you.
    .

Thanks for thinking of me hun, but its not the taking off as such, although Dublin is closed till at least 5pm tonight, I cant land in England. And yes its easy to get to, but it takes just under 4 hours !!!

Same here, very grey and scabby. Going to Argos for some blackout blinds for the front bedrooms and thats about as exciting as it gets!

Glam: forgot to ask yesterday, have you been to see about J's car seat?

    Morning all..

OH is thankful for the human alarm clock that is Rhys this morning. Rhys woke me up at 7.45am and I noticed OH wasn't in bed but his car was in the drive.. He's supposed to start work at 7.20am! Found him snoring on the sofa, all ready for work and everything. He must have thought he had a few minutes to spare and zonked out! Anyway, kicked him off to work so now Rhys and I are on our own until at least half one. I went back to sleep but I don't think Rhys did, just pulled my hair for an hour until I caved and got up properly. He's currently doing his morning bounce around in the Jumperoo and watching the GP while his milk cools :)

No plans here today. Might take Rhys out for a walk so he can nap on the move this morning and then this afternoon is just blitzing the hallway. Rhys has started to get bothered by the hoover now so will do the hoovering once OH is back here to distract him if he gets too bad :)

Hope everyone has a nice day and the poorlies are improving! :) xx

Sorry MM I knew that - I'm an idiot :(

One of my colleagues, who is in Arizona at a conference and who's based in Copenhagen, just emailed me to tell me he probably won't be able to meet me next weekend because of the volcano because he's trapped in the US. It didn't occur to him that I'm not going to be there either, and I was so busy laughing at him that I did exactly the same thing with you, MM. I am suitably embarrassed.

Anyone elses sick child complaining of backache? Christopher has been sick and is saying his back hurts, he's refusing to move (but he can be a twisted little sod like that).
