lol, you'd hate it here nothing matches! I wish I could have a lovely home all matching like something from the next catalogue but I doubt it'll ever happen :o

My house doesn't match......apart from the kids rooms which were both only decorated last year. I want to try and keep them nice:o

Take note... When husband says he'll get up with the baby, what he means is, he'll lie there for 10mins with his back to you while the baby screeches down your earhole and pulls on your hair... If you then just get up with the baby, you are accused of being miserable and told repeatedly to go back to bed... By someone looking at you with a scowl...

It is not me who's miserable!!

Baby keeps walking across the living room pushing her v-tech walker backwards with a smug grin on her face... She did it one handed yesterday, show off! She's so cute :D

    It's the thought that counts;)
My dh doesn't even offer to get up...this morning I got 'When it's time to take the kids to school, you go back to bed and i'll take them' I don't want to 'go back to bed' I want to stay in bed, and then get up to take the kids to school, which I happen to enjoy doing:mad: Silly man

    Yay caitlyn, clever girl:D
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.

You've just reminded me Krystal, did I mention when DH was talking to his friend on the phone the other night? He said to his friend 'what are you doing - babysitting?' When he's done I said 'whose kids is he babysitting?' 'his own,' was the reply! !!!!!!??!!! Since when do you 'babysit' your own kids! I said 'so all I'm doing all day is babysitting the kids for you till you get home then!' Why do the menfolk seem to think it's a favour if they look after the children?? GRRR!!:mad::mad:

We're off to town this morning to buy my new breadmaker. Might treat Josh to his lunch out too. I'm going to text all my friends first to see if they want my old one. If not then I think it'll have to be freecycle, just hope I can pick out the genuine ones!

Any news on Caz's Charlie SM? Sending them lots of (((hugs))) and get well vibes xxxx

Wi3adora - what is that woman thinking of! Those names are just awful especially in that combination too, i didn't mind bailey too much but eek!!

Pinkpig - do non of your friends need a bread maker? Otherwise maybe call a local charity shop see if they take electrical goods I know some can be funny about them.

Well T woke at 4.30 for a feed Which in it's self is good cos she went down just after 11, but took her till 5.45 to get to sleep at which point OH alarm went off and woke her up. I wouldn't mind but he hit snooze and went back to sleep and in amatter of seconds was snoring his head off! Anyhoo poor lil mite has lots of wind and can't sleep :( typically going to see hv and then take mil shopping today so not much chance of me catching up on sleep but hopefully she will.

Morning all!! Just in the process of catching up since last night. Well didnt have a great night last night with the earlier bedtime, but I seem to remember someone saying it can take a few nights to help, so I am going to carry on with it. T stayed in bed from 7pm to 7am but had numerous short feeds at roughly 8, 11, 1, 4 and 6, and a couple of random wake ups where I was able to settle him too. Feel absolutely knackered now!! Im gonna see if I can get in maximum day feeds today to see if that helps. He is now wide awake led on his mat lifting his legs right up and rolling from left to right and grabbing his feet. Wish I felt that energetic!! Hope u all had good nights. Any news on Charlie yet (may be some in the bit I have to catch up though).

Not right now, but feel sad that i'll never get to do it again. :(:( I'm still young so always chance to meet someone else, but should probably limit the amount of sperm donors i use

Plus the fact that Amber's growing so fast :(

You never know what might happen! I had visions of being a single Mam for ever, but then I met Craig unexpectidly and we had Charlotte.

Scruffy - Hope El is better this morning xx

Did I tell Daniel has got his 1st party invitation? The little boy who was born the day after Daniel is having a doo :) I feel bad though as I'm not doing anything like that as there isn't enough room in my house for more than me, Daniel and the Dog lol.

We didn't have any friends round for Charlottes first or second birthdays. She just had family members over for a buffet tea. It's her third birthday next month and we'll probably just do the same again. Parties are stressful - best left for when they are old enough to remember them :D

Staying home today and doing a full day of uni. Brain will be frazzled by this evening :rotfl:
Here I go again on my own....

I like Bailey as a name, only an implication that they were named after the drink would make it bad. Otherwise, I like :)

Very miserable for poor Caz and Charlie :( hope it's something the hospital can turn around quickly, and ack for the other mini-Scots falling sick too :( how miserable, hopefully they don't get hit so hard...

Re "babysitting" - it's been ranted about here before ;p I must say I use it, when either of us is staying in while the other one gets to go out. "Oh, why isn't your OH here too, I'd have loved to catch up with her?" "We couldn't get anyone to cover so she's stayed in to babysit" - etc. The point being, it's 'being at home while the other half goes out somewhere that pre-baby you would have both gone to' if that makes sense! It does in my head :)
  • Morning all :) I've not read back for, but I'm sorry to hear of all the poorly little ones :( Get better soon babies!!!

All good here. Made a not very MSE, but sanity saving decision this week and now Izzy is having meals at nursery. My parents said to only make her tea on the day they have her, and she can share whatever they are having at lunchtime. So this means I might finish my evening chores and eat my tea before bedtime!

Morning. Not the best night here either - however, I think half the problem was DH *rolleyes*. He's been a right grouch since coming home from Paris, when then in turn makes Finn harder to settle (b/c he insists on trying himself and then he gets impatient and Finn winds up even more, meaning I have to step in anyway), and then we wind up fighting at like 2 in the morning...cue times 3 for the past 3 nights and I'm knackered. I knew last night was going to be bad though because Finn didn't get his last nap b/c we were out :o.

Hope the sicky babies are better :(. No plans for us today...

Well were just back from hospital too with a poorly babe. They gave her lucozade as her blood sugar was low so she came to life a bit coz of the sugar rush so Docs thought she was fine sent us home and low and behold just 10mins in the door and she is violently sick everywhere, over her, me, kitchen units, worktops and floor. Never mind she's settled down now and fallen asleep but me, I'm wide awake lol

just made a cuppa and havin some choc digestives!! After our 2.30am nip into tesco to get lucozade lol. The staff will be speaking about us "check those parents with there kid of that age out at this time in the morning" lol:rotfl:

Is she doing better today Scruff?? Hope Charlie is doing better too x

We had the worst night in ages here last night zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, am knackered!! On top of the random not sleeping due to teeth he seems to be trying out new sleeping positions and deciding he doesn't like it and wants dummy back etc! He seems to quite like being on his side tho, he looks so cute now hes big enough to choose how he wants to lie!
Hes being so fussy with food its unreal! I'm sure its teeth, he either goes off the bottle or off spoon food, the last few days hes been off spoon food. Hes point blank refusing to open his mouth for his porridge that he eats every morning without fail and is [STRIKE]feeding the dog toast [/STRIKE]having toast *roll eyes*

Away to find a post I meant to comment on yesterday.

Am has woke up with red cheeks (like teething) and then the same all over her forehead :(

Do you think she might have bumped her head in the night or something tto do with the cheeks??

She's fine chatting away and had her brekki, just looks a bit sore. :)
