Watching Harry Potter and eating roast dinner.

OH likes Gabriel.. and Gabrielle.. He would 'consider' Nathalya but hated everything else suggested. His mother said he MUST have Jon/Jonathon as a middle name for a boy as it is his dads name.. problem is.. we both hate it.. lol.. I being me.. said I wouldn't use it because we don't like it! lol Isabella got a Hmm.. which means it isn't horrific but he doesn't like it.

I like loads of girly names.. but hate Gabrielle.. and I think with HSM there will be loads about at the mo. boys I like Harvey and Harley.. and Kendall.. and he hates them all. Poppy, Violet, Jasmine, etc.. whatever I suggested didn't even get a response!!

I am just sticking with Squeak.. it is a perfectly acceptable name IMO!

I have decided Myrtle or Terence anyway.. if he won't discuss it properly they are the names it gets!

I like Squeak;) Isabella was on our list, but dh doesn't like Izzy so it got pushed aside, he doesn't really like names that have an 'eeeee' sound at the end:cool:

I can imagine you would have said no to Jonathon as you don't like it...I don't see you as one to hold your tongue:p

BM - I would also kick up a stink if I got refused alcohol on the basis of having my kids with me:cool:......I would then walk out and tell them they can stick the shopping up there !!!!, and wouldn't ever shop there again:o

Right have a little monkey to bag and bed:D

Quick edit....Yeah I also like Teeee aaaah type but I would spell that TIA:D Dh isn't as keen on it but I have managed to get him to agree to TÉA
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.

Question, but don't read if you are eating dinner:

Kezia is now just over 6 months and has been having mostly jarred food (turns her nose up at my lovely cooked stuff:() but it seems to look exactly the same coming out as it does going in. Is this normal or should I be a bit concerned? I assumed she would be digesting it to some degree and it would change a bit but she had carrot and butternut squash earlier and I might as well have just put it straight in the nappy.

Thanks in advance. I'll be back once the house smells normal again.

    xxxx

Carrots are the culprit! Try eating a bowl of carrots yourself and see lol! Its the keratin colour or sometink that that???

I've always said Tea like Teeaa, but, another thing with pronunciation you have to consider is regional dialects. Scottish people don't call their sons Carl cos we can't pronouce it, its comes out Carol lol
Scruffy says Kaaarrreennn very funny! I love Aberdeen accent!

I like Tea and you like it, go for it! People are thick and say and spell any name wrong :rotfl:

I don't think the alcohol thing is actually law or policy or anything? It seems to be a case of cashiers being overly excited with the law. Refusing when shopping with littlies doing a weekly shop with wine is just crazy!

One of my SA's got caught selling to a police undercover sting child agent thing and had to go to court.she was lucky not to be sacked and fined £2000. Some supermarkets put the fear of god into their staff with underage alcohol sales as they run the risk of losing their license. Alcohol is about 30-35% of sales for most shops so mega bucks to lose.

Sorry Glam:o I didn't realise people were actually waiting!

Well the name, (you will all hate it now:p) TÉA (pr tay-ah).......As in Tea Leoni, Tea Henry (Thierry Henry's daughter)

Sorry for all the silliness everyone, it is just strange why so many accents are allowed but not mine:(

Anyway, dare I ask, what do you think:cool:

    I like it!
But I would be in that 2% that wouldn't know how to pronounce it unless it was spelt out for me. I do think it would be name she would have to spell out to people.

I always spell out my name - first name and surname. It's habit now - with my first name I get is it????
    Vicky, Vicki, Vikki, Vicci, Vikky

I just caught up on my phone but its too much effort to post! lol!

J has gone to bed without his dummy tonight :j He was shattered.
I am amazed at how quickly he's become mobile, he's gone from sitting happily in his inflatable ring to throwing himself out and keeps getting himself in a pressup position!
If I had room I'd put travel cot up but its huge!

Forgot to reply to this! When J was having the 7 month jars he was pooping out the cubes of potato and carrot exactly as they were when he ate them! We are now on the 10m jars and he chews the food and I no longer get to see it again!
