Now I want chilli. :( Nobody else likes it so I rarely make it. May batch cook some at some point just for me.

Chilli is an everyday occurance in this house :rotfl:

Idris' mum gave me two huge 2.2kg leg of lamb  They won't even fit in the slo cooker. No clue what to do with them as I'm too cheap to pay that price for some meat!!

Woohoo! I got my bibs bundle from ebay today, she soaks each one with milk everytime she uses it. So now she has 7 more :)

Got a massive bag of 0-3m clothes today from my mum's friend. Its loads of summer dresses and other general summer clothes :D I have washed them so i cant wait to start dressing her up! :)

Done our first proper shop since Lily was born today. Spent £55 in Tesco. Hopefully it will last us a while :D
I got some cocoa powder to make biscuits :)

SS, i love those shoes! :D

oooh, also we finally got the last bit of proof we needed for housing benefit/LHA so we gave it all in today and should hear in a couple of weeks.
Hopefully a 'couple of weeks' means 2 weeks :)

    Yay for amber :D

Lily doesn't like things over her face, she sometimes smooshs her face into my boobs though lol. She has to have the blanket under her arms otherwise she gets angry and goes all red :p

I'm not even that keen on lamb, I just took it because I can't say no to food :o I think lamb tastes greasy, I'll make kebabs with it! I'm terrible for food though, I have 3 turkey legs that have been in my freezer for months but I don't wanna eat them so they just stay there.........

Well if he ever narks you off, just add some peri peri sauce or jalapenos to his food. Teeheehee

    Evening all..

I'm awaiting the arrival of the monster-in-law  OH assures me she's "only popping in on her way home".. well yes god forbid she ever actually made a specific journey to visit just us!

We had a nice afternoon at Mum's. It was the same carpet fitter as we had, nice bloke. Mum was slightly freaked out when he asked how I was when he first arrived - don't know if she thought he was an ex bf or something!

Rhys likes the stairs and was trying to lift his leg to get to the next one but sadly his little legs are just too little for the amount of effort he was able to muster :rotfl: Think we'll have to practise that one! We need some of those prop steps photographers have for practising at home! ;)

ooh elle, I'm curious about the travel ins now. do let us know your findings.

I was thinking more from Rhys' health point of view ;) We've been warned lots of times although his kidneys are still improving, there is a high chance they will start getting worse again at some point but no-one knows when that will be. I don't want to book a flight over a year in advance without any backup should he be too ill to go :o It might not come to anything yet - ILs have a timeshare in Tenerife that they've only ever been to twice in 20odd years of having it because they (somehow!) swap their time there with other people in their "club" and go to other places instead - mostly America and Barbados! I know OH would absolutely LOVE to go to Canada too
