I always use the buggy shopping bag in Lidl and then just plonk the bag on the checkout so they know I am putting everything through. You could do the same with a cloth shopping bag.
Off to site - got a site with 'cultural issues' that they want me to investigate (ie - find out who is not getting on and bang their heads together) and then a performance review meeting (ie a b!tching session) - what a Friday afternoon!!
Have fun.

Kindof, maybe it's 6.49am USA time?
I'm off for a snooze or more :coffee: I'm more tired with a full nights sleep than with broken sleep! Although, Amber woke up for a cuddle last night and I sneaked her in bed with me for 10mins, she curled up and went to sleep and I miss her sleeping in with me. She's so cute all curled up on her side, with her wee mouth hanging open!0 -
Kindof - just an idea cos I know my local tesco and morrisons have them, does asda have trolley lockers outside the cafe(assuming there's a cafe!) you could pop the pushchair in there and then grab a trolley and swap back when your finnished. Otherwise as some one else said it might be worth taking E in the sling (am sure you mentioned you got one the other week!)
EA - I would love to be by the coast so could go for a walk, yours yesterday sounded really nice specially as inlaws went too
yeay for all the LO's reaching milestones x
Well had a way better night, don't know if it's because I decided to try Tahlie in a sleeping bag but once she was in it, was only a few minutes later she was asleep in her cot and not a murmer. That was 10.30 and she didn't stir till 4am! Even then it was a quick bum change and she only fed for 15 min before being sparko again so got another 2 hours
she did however have her longest feed ever ( 67 minutes ) when she woke but that was ok cos I put on the tv and watched gmtv. She's been really happy most of the morning too been sming and I swear trying to giggle when I was waving her toys at her earlier. Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

kindof- i keep Kian's bottles unmade in the fridge and then warm them in the microwave and add the formula. our micro is 850w so i do 7oz for 40secs. i'd do 4oz for about 20secs. then as you have to shake the bottle to mix the formula it will get rid of any hotspots that maybe there. 5 months later and we've had no problems.
i think its trial and error with babies and wind. we never changed his milk but gave him either dentinox or summat else (cant remember) and he would burp no problem. the hipp milk made it really hard for him to poo so i went to Heinz but as heinz is meant to be stopping i've gone to c&g and we've had no problems.
your best bet is to try a full box not just the cartons and see how you get on, but it may be worth trying the colic/wind stuff first with your normal milk. it was said on here to allow 5 full days for anything to take affect but we noticed after about a day that the anti-colic/wind stuff was working.
when we go shopping i put the groceries under the buggy as the basket sticks out too far and i dont want to bang into anyone

Jenny - I think you should try to get OH to see the GP just for a check, suddenly getting clumsy and his feinting the other day could be a sign that somethings wrong. Probably nothing but best to be safe IMO

you know you can just pour the boiling water straight into the bottle it's just plain water so makes no differencekindofagilr wrote: »...
No he doesnt get it from the fridge, we boil the kettle, then wait half an hour for it to cool (like the box said) and put the required water in the bottle, then the bottles sit on the bench (with their teats and lids on) then when he wants a bottle we add the powder to the cooled water, but its room temp cool not fridge cool?
Do you still think I should try heating them? if so how long to they need heating for? if I did it in the microwave (I know you arent supposed to do that)...
I agree that you should give warm milk first, it just seems 'right' to me to give warm milk - dunno why tho lol.
I found a rough guide is 10 sec per oz minus 10 sec (when it's from the fridge) so say for 6oz I'd try it for 50secs then test.
When you make the bottles up are you measuring the water in oz or ml? if it's oz try using mls I found that really helped Chris. Its because 3oz is actually less than 90ml so over the day when using oz's baby is actually taking a lot less water compared to if you use mls (stupid that they still put oz on the box but you know ..:p)
I balance shopping on the pram hood when it's forward facing if getting just a few bits, it all depends on what your buying and the design of the pram really

EA Seth loves the Blue Reef! We first took him when he was 3-4 months old and he was mesmerised. The CM took him a few weeks ago and he loved it then too. Wouldnt bother taking Lily yet though, unless you want to go for yourself
it would be a waste cos she is so young!
And now I really need to go poop but OH has emerged and is in the bl00dy bathroom for about 10 minutes, lush! Really dont wannt know what he's doing in there, either way it cant be good though!.
Its for me but :shhh::shhh::rotfl:
I get £2 off with my library card

Knew I'd forget something!
Glam that pic is gorgeous! Chris spotted who it was straight away and said Jack wants his Daddy ?? lol
SM - I take it that you were sitting the kids for 'that' girl at your house? I can't believe someone would go out so late if the kids weren't at home in their beds!0 -
I agree Sami, I think Jenny's OH should go get himself looked at.
We're just back from Gymboree, it was manic - 12 babies in a class which is only supposed to have 8 max. All the kids whose classes were cancelled on Monday because of the bank holiday turned up in our class instead and it was still nice but the room is far too small. And Molly's friend with the gorgeous eyes was there, we've not seen her for a few weeks and they really like patting each other's feet :A
Then a bigger boy took Molly's maracas (maraca? one of them) from her, and she very calmly took it back and sternly tapped his foot with it :rotfl:
And my ebay voucher turned up! So I may have just made the most :money: purchase of baby sunglasses ever: Babybanz on ebay at 2/3 RRP (£7.69 from £10.99), £1.44 p&p, and after using my voucher I paid 50p - plus I got Quidco! :money: We're going to need them, she's already scrunching up her face in the sun and they're for 0-2 so they'll do this summer and next, hopefully.
Actually, if I was properly :money: I'd have bought them in a neutral colour, but I'm sick of people confusing her for a boy :mad:Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

LOVE it, Go Molly!...

I'm trying to teach Ed to shake his finger at Chris when he snatches lol he already shakes his head if you say no, no, no
incidentally I spotted some babybanz rip offs in Sainsbury's a few weeks ago they were about a fiver, on the sunglasses stand not with the baby stuff.0
