Tia - could I please have your treacle scone recipe?

Some scone mix and treacle... I cheat :p But to make it from scratch you just add treacle into your regular scone batter which is ever so slightly dry.

*picks herself up off the floor* paypal have actually taken the sellers side for once! another problem buyer who bought a pram from me and the decided she didnt want that colour and bought another one the following day? it had already been paid and posted and she opened a not as described dispute, i argued that she could have a refund but not postage and paypal have agreed with me :D:D:D i know its only £10 but why should i pay!!!

Atleast I buy em and then sell them on. Spose I could just decide its not as described... but I'm not a !!!!wit. Glad paypal decided in your favour, did you post it on the ebay forum? Bet they would all be shocked too!

OOh, just remembered. We had a worrying thing today too.

A couple of weeks ago at L's gym class, they called the parents in for an urgent meeting. They said that G, the main Gym instructor had had a complaint made about him, and that he wouldn't be able to work at the gym while it was investigated. They couldn't tell us any more, but wanted to tell us something to prevent the rumours starting.

Anyhows, as I was walking to the train station this afternoon, the headline in the local evening paper caught my eye. 'Child sex arrest of gym teacher', with a photo of said gym instructor.

It just made me feel a bit sick. He's a lovely bloke, works at the gym with his wife and daughter. L has been going there since she was 4.

I suppose as a gym instructor you're open to accusations?! But i think it's really wrong that he's on the front page of the paper, with photo, before he's been found guilty of anything. :( Even if it all comes out ok, people will remember the accusation.

Anyhows, I just needed to get that off my chest. :o

Last year a driver at DH's work was accused of texting a 14/15 year old girl (and then other rumours started), guy lost his job. Now there is a rumour that he is driving again. The rumour is that 'Stevie with the ginger hair is a !!!!! and has got his job back'. Unfortunate thing is that my DH is also a ginger haired Stevie!:eek::eek:

Really hope its not true, but then very sad if it isn't. People just remember the headlines, they don't even read the real story.

Poor you Scruffy, that's a difficult one. I hardly ever give in, but sometimes it's for the best and I wish I could just let things go sometimes. Particularly as I know I feel crap when we have fallen out, and I would feel better if we made up, but my stubborness gets the better of me. It depends what he has done and if he has made any peace offerings.

If you do make up, make sure you kick him in his sleep during the night as payback.

I suppose it depends what he did and how annoyed you are about it...

Have you had an apology? (except revels thrust upon you)

I usually go to bed then I can calmly talk (can dio it in the dark, I end up screachin if the light is on!)
