I don't want the CM to just be able to calm her for 10 minutes, I want Caitlyn to be happy to be with her, which she isn't.

Sorry not caught up but (((hugs))) and yays to those that need them :)

What if she just doesn't like the CM?? Perhaps you should another one altogether then you'll know if you're dealing with seperation anxiety or just a general dislike for that particular CM?

I said this ages ago!! Maybe trying another CM or a nursery just for a day or 2 might give you the answer PP.

Although from what you said it seems like it is more likely seperation anxiety...but other CM's may have better coping strategies IYSWIM.

    How is the lovely V?

We are struggling slightly with stroppiness at the moment. Every time Benjamin doesn't get what he wants (which is usually climbing the stairs or playing outside) we are having tantrums :(

I am trying to ignore him but he can sit and cry real tears for ages - I am sure he perforated my eardrum!!

Last night he sat by the patio doors crying for ten minutes because I had closed the door (he had come inside by himself). I tried to distract him with grapes but then he started all over again because I wouldn't let him eat more than 8 *rolleyes*

Where he gets his stubborn streak from I don't know ;) Tell me it will get better

    Morning:)

I know you will miss them Becles but it is only a couple of days....tell her she can have mine too if she wants;) Good luck with the studying.

Pink - I also think you should try a nursery, or at least a different CM, if youare set on using one....You can ask for trial sessions and as others have said at least it will rule out whether she just doesn't like that particular cm/environment etc....

Need to order a freezer today, and it is MIL birthday so will pop and see her later.

MFD - Don't talk to me about tantrums!!!! K is a nightmare with them lately!!! It does get better, well it gets 'different' ie they learn to talk and then you can actually explain to them why they can/can't do such and such....or just send em to bed for 10mins till they stop stropping;)

    Mel x
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

I believe it does get better, in around 19 years time. :( My friends 13yo boy came out with us yesterday and he was so funny. He walked 20 steps ahead of us at all times so it didn't look like he was with us. And was horrified that his Mum kept telling him of for walking with his hand down his trackie pants. :rotfl:

V is lovely as ever. She's given up on standing and attempting to walk, unless she has an audience, then she'll stand alone and dance, before encouraging the audience to clap. :o

Her strop is to lie face down on the floor kicking her feet, then glancing round to make sure someone is looking.

And she's already got is sussed that Daddy is a softy. She found a milky bar from an easter egg and brought it to me to open. I said no, so she took it to Daddy instead with a big smile on her face.

How are Benjamins teeth coming on, does he have a full set yet? And is he needing a haircut? ;)

If V had been a boy, she'd need a haircut now, the back is quite long and curly - she's got a bit of an 80's footballers mullet. :rotfl:

Glam, can I ask another question about the comfort milk, you said to add it to hot water, then put in fridge and shake it when he wants it to mix it again and then warm it.

Do I have to re-warm it? Just Elliot currently drinks cold milk, he doesnt have it warmed up (I didnt bother to warm it up as he drank ready made stuff at the hospital from them and they gave him it at room temp, and he is ok with that)

Oh thanks for that with the teats, I did wonder about that, we have number 2's which I dont think are fast flow, but we have 2 variflows, so I can get 4 more (we currently use 6 bottles)

    Lush pic as well Glam

Sorry you had a crap night Aless

Well I feel quite refresed (sorry Aless), elliot had a feed at 9pm, took about an hour to settle him, then he didnt wake till 2am for a feed (OH was still up so I made him do it lol) then he woke at 5am, then we got up at 8.30 for another feed, and he's back asleep lol

I am going to get dressed in a min and take Elliot to asda for some comfort milk and some new teats lol
