:rotfl: But it is sweet that he wants to take her with you to things.
It really is, and apparently he asked the ticket woman and she says that people can bring babies so long as they don't make any noise. So he thinks that's licence to bring Princess Shoutypants to the movies. Even if it was a parent-child screening, I wouldn't bring her to Sherlock Holmes - it's just too dark, too many sudden noises, too shouty and too scary.
I'm glad he thought to ask them though. When we were away we wanted to do a submarine safari and I insisted he check with them before booking - he was positive there'd be no problem bringing the baby and was astonished when they refused.SS - Alice thinks your avatar is her.

Argh all you people posted while I was!
I'm just tired and a bit blah, aless, but the "hey let's go to the cinema" has sparked my attention once more.
It would be a Saturday afternoon showing at a city centre cinema which regularly sells out. Boggles the mind, so he does.
I meant to say that we were lucky and no one had anything but positive things to say to our faces when we announced our incipient infant. I assume there was plenty of discussion in private but everyone knew to keep their sharp tongues to themselves.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

SS, we have Screen and Scream here
http://www.odeon.co.uk/fanatic/newbies/
But I have never been :rotfl:.
I hate the cinema at the best of times but DH loves it. We compromise and go in the afternoon when its not packed with hundreds of people making sure they have brought the sweets with the noisiest wrappers and the drink with the slurpiest straw  (but that doesn't stop people sitting right next to us when the theatre is pretty much empty!!).

Talking of Aimee... She finally came home this afternoonHaven't half missed her... Especially the epic tantrum at bedtime...
Just took me 10mins to write this post... Hubby kept whacking me with a swimming noodle... laughed so much my sides hurt!!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Random post warning!
Is it EA who was going to have a french fancies tower for her wedding cake? I've just seen there on offer at £1 a pack in asda atm, not sure how long dated the packs are though. If it wasn't EA I'm not sure where I have this idea from!Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -
Ooh, I love french fancies Boo!
SB- I thought I was the only one who hates the cinema. The HV running our baby group today was really surprised none of us had been to a Screen and Scream viewing. I love my baby, but I'm not too keen on hearing everyone else's scream as I sit in a dark auditorium and watch a mediocre film!
Glad everyone enjoyed the meet.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

Weird, DD rang me today suggesting a chocolate cupcake tower and one cake in the middle for Maddy's christening. She said they are quite popular at the weddings at the hotel.Too many children, too little time!!!0 -
Glad the Meet went well ladies!
Most of my family cried with joy when I announced I was pregnant with the baby I lost, Poppy and Jamie. Mum & Dad had been waiting so patiently as we had been married a few years already!. Poppy was the first baby in my family for 19 years

SM - thank you for my chocolate, OH made me a brew and I'm about to enjoy it with that. Isla's is in the fridge so she can have it bit by bit when she starts eating
Glam - loved Jack's check shirt today, he's got the best smiley face! Do you know where the shirts from please? I might have to get my nephew one. Isla did look really grown up today, I think that's what made me think I need to start really making the most of my MLIt's going too quickly. Also do you know if your going to sling meet on the 21st? It's the wednesday one but depending whether OH is off work that week I might pop along too.
SS - I think your OH may have been talking to mine, he too thought it would be fine to take Isla to the cinema as 'she's just a baby, she'll sleep or feed the whole time' Yeah right!
It's from Tesco. Part of the Baby Boutqiue stuff rather than the Cherokee - can't see it online but it was in the reduced bit.
What size you need? I could ask MIL to get it and then bring it to next sling meet - I should be going.
My little cowboy is uber cute!
Just munching Mini Eggs and drinking Smirnoff Ice
Tara - check out SJ's website as she makes some fantastic cupcakes, I'll PM you the link. Might give you some ideas.A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
