I don't think it would marble, it doesn't have the right consistency. Colour it, yep. But you can throw on nuts or chocolate chunks (you would love peanut butter fudge). About a week is what it says it will last if you look online.
I was going to say I didn't think it would marble but I ain't no cooking/baking expert lol but I agree with tia. I suppose if you want before it sets you could sprinkle sugar strands or something on it but I'm not 100% sure it would work as it might still be too hot and melt them or they may sink in!!! Or I suppose once it was set you could leave it as a slab and write on it with icing i.e happy birthday etc if it was for gifts!!!Everyone is entitled to their opinionEllie 25/12/070 -
just catching up from today
DH does bath and bedtime hereI think DH is very comfy and warm so Daniel just goes out like a light.
We have one of the bounce and zebras got it for £10 off eBay and Daniel loves it, he'll point at it while sat on my knee, says "abda" wriggles himself off my knee crawls across to it stands up and bounces it with his hands. He can't quite get his leg over it yet so I'll pop him on and then he bounces like mad and smiles and giggles while doing it. It's great to watch it
SM I've sent Zoe her post today, hope she likes it xMummy to D born 21/04/09 and S born 09/05/120 -
The thing is, he does loads of stuff with her, but as time goes on he seems to have unrealistic ideas of what she can and can't do. Some things he wants to believe she's still a newborn and not capable of them (like imitating sounds, he thinks I'm overreacting when I tell him not to swear around her), but when it comes to stuff like sleeping and not grabbing he thinks she should be able to follow instructions of No, and Go to sleep. And she'll be eight months old tomorrow, she's just too young for that. All the time I was pregnant he'd say, Our baby won't do X, and I laughed at him, but it seems like he believed it.
OH always says things like 'oooo Jack would you like to stay up and watch the football?' and then is surprised when J is falling asleep at 7.30pm! It's like there is no concept that they are so young!
Jack is 7 months today - I'm struggling to see where the time has gone
ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo (this deserves a lot of O's)
OH's grandparents are looking to buy a house to rent out so we are possibly thinking of renting it off them (think around £400 for a 3-bed place in lovely rural West Wales) and they would probably leave it to us.
Pros - no mortgage, no need to work full time, nearer family (both mine & OH's), beautiful location with beaches and national park etc
Cons - no MSE meets (although I'm only 90minutes from Weezl), quite rural (but I'm used to that from when I grew up), I don't really know many people (but then I don't where I am now), poor job prospects.
Quite exciting really - we plan to start paying off some of our mortgage so that when we sell we have a nice sum in the bank ready for Number 2 (and 3, 4 and 5) :rotfl:A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Glam - I know what you mean, SIL and BIL are coming over on Katie's birthday to help construct her birthday present (a wendy house) but they're not getting here until 7pm just when Katie starts to flag. Should be interesting if she starts to ask to go to bed before it's finished.Proud to be dealing with my debts

Mfd sounds like you've had a fabby time.
