I went to Blackpool for my best friend's hen do... not really my kind of place but it was very cheap to go out compared with how much it normally costs us in Brighton or London, and we didn't witness any trouble. We did a bit of forward planning and booked a big table in a restaurant which was very cheap and food was good, got ourselves guest list entry to one of the big clubs which had a cheesy dance floor, and a good time was had by all. Well, except at the pleasure beach. Not good on a hangover!

Ebay is your best bet. There are some awful puffy 1980s style dresses on there selling for pennies; as a dressing up costume you want an awful wedding dress really!

I'd go with the Ebay option - my wedding dress came from there for less than £100 and i saw plenty of cheap 80/90's puff-shoulder type wedding meringues whilst searching!

And by honey's i mean young fit birds, who are not interested in money saving, just enjoying themselves.

    ;)

Sorry but this cracked me up! You think the 'honey's' weren't interested in you because you're tight....riiiight....THAT'S the reason! Pmsl!! Sounds like a delusional bloke who thinks he can get all the young fit birds he wants, bless his little cotton socks!

thats the sound of me stifling my laughter.

they might be put off by the fact that you called them honeys or fit young birds.

    Herbie Where abouts are you?
I've got a sewing machine and although I'm no expert, if you're anywhere near me I'm sure we could russle something up out of ribbon straps, a bedsheet to go round and net curtains to be sewn on. (It doesn't need to look beautiful lol)

Ivrytwr3 - I would imagine most women will now be sending their OH's on stag do's with vouchers now, so they don't end up copping off with a "honey"
    Thanks for the tip!!!!
