I was sure it was baby, but apparently once it starts you feel it every day, so it must've been something else.

You probably ARE feeing baby move. I am sure in the early weeks, you may only be aware of baby moving every couple of days, but as you become more aware of these movements, you feel them more and more often, until you obviously feel baby moving all the time (and can't get any sleep because of it).

I felt DS1 move at 21 weeks, DS2 at 19 weeks and I am only 13 weeks with our third, so at least another month I expect.

Ooh, who's gonna be watching Panorama - Maternity Wards on BBC1 8pm tonight? I'm not sure I can be put off birth any more than I already am!

Septemberbaby, that's lovely for you (seems such a long time between the 12w-ish scan and the 20w one, doesn't it?!). My 20w one's on the 11th, so not long now....I had a midwife check-up last week at 18ws, and she said, shall we try to hear the baby's heartbeat, it's a little bit early so please don't worry if we don't hear anything...and of course we didn't, so I'm now trying to stay calm!! Roll on the 11th!!

Thanks Nicky! When I have my scan next week it will be over ten weeks since first had a glimpse of Baby Bean so it was lovely to have some reassurance. Good luck next Friday! xxx

Oh no, I meant to watch that Panorama...I've missed it now :(

I felt baby first move at 16+6, and I didn't feel it every day untill about a week later. It was definitely baby though as it's felt the same all way through, just getting stronger and stronger.

You can watch a re-run on the BBC website:

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/panorama/default.stm

Be warned though, it is not a comforting programme if you are due soon! :(

I am due to be induced tomorrow and I am absolutely dreading it ! I am even more worried now after watching Panorama, I already feel like a piece of meat and unfortunately I have read too much about being induced and what can go wrong on the internet and now the horror stories on Panorama - I am 10 days overdue and just wanted everything to be natural and with no interference I feel a bit pushed into a corner and really upset about it fingers crossed I will go into labour tonight !

    Fingers crossed for you Kennyjosiah!

I'm sure you will be fine. I was debating whether to watch the programme with my OH and now wish that we hadn't! But, you have to keep in mind that most births are complication free and we always hear more of the bad stuff than the good stuff.

Eat a curry then a pineapple and wash it down with raspberry leaf tea and see how you get on!

Good luck and very best wishes xxxx

    Hello all,
I hope youwill forgive me for not reading the first 150 odd pages of this thread? I am due in 4 weeks and think I probably ought to start looking for a decent nursing bra. Money is tight (hence i'm here!!) and £25 seems extortionate for a nursing bra considering I 'm assuming i'm going to need about 4? SO:

Where is the best/cheapest place currently to buy some? I hve some mothercare vouchers for £5-00 off mat wear over £30 if this sways the arguement.

Many thanks in advance for your help, I really appreciate it!
