No don't worry! There are enough things to worry about...

It's more comfortable for your stomach to take vitamins when you eat and it helps absorb them better as they move more slowly through the digestive tract but if you can't eat then taking them on an empty stomach is better than nothing... It's always a bit of a juggling act and if you can get them down and keep them down then you'll get enough benefits. If you can eat things like bread and cereal then they're fortified as well so you'll get some vitamins that way too. Obviously if you're being sick a lot then you need to speak to your midwife and it may be worth taking one of the little folic acid tablets that are easier to get down than the horse pills but you'll probably do fine without that.

Yes that's the one. You use it as exemption proof at the dentist and also for the free prescriptions. I had to show mine at the dentist despite being so obviously pregnant they had help me out of the chair when I got stuck

:rotfl: Reminds me of my Grandad being told by the optician he really would have to bring proof that he was over 60 to get a free eye test. He was in his early eighties at the time!

Had to back into hospital today after more bleeding.....blood tests taken but have to wait till Tues for another scan. Really frightening because the worst bleeding yet and it hasn't stopped. Will be a long weekend....
