    Me again!!

Does anyone know if the Pizza Hut happy hour offer runs on bank hols too?

Im thinking of using some of the family treat budget next Monday and going along to pizza hut.
Ive worked out that even if we went all out with the happy hour menu with refillable drinks and desserts and the kids had the 3 course kids meal it would only cost £20.98, what a bargain :T.

Sorry, I can't help with this one but you could try calling your local Pizza Hut and asking them :)

Not sure if it runs either sorry but £22.98 is great for a meal out and its a nice treat for you to not have to cook (and tidy up after :) ) Hopefully it does run for you x

Afternoon diary, just having my lunch and catching up on here. Broccoli and stilton soup if anyones interested !!

Well today is a HSD, £63 to fill the car this morning and even then it wasnt completely full  I panicked as I only had £62 on me and the 5p off every litre. Came in at £60.56 after deductions!
I remember the days when DH used to put £5 a week in his little Peugeot and we went everywhere and it lasted all week !!!!!!! Its £5 a day now .

Other than that no other spends. Brought my lunch and its very healthy and im not enjoying my satsuma :T.

Thanks GAP and Mummy, il probably check before we go. Cant have any embarrasing situations now can we?!

2 days until payday woohoo! Have got £7 in the bank and about £1 in my purse and no planned spends for the rest of today or tomorrow so for the first time ever im not on the absolute breadline before payday! Woohoo :j.

Right think thats about it from me!

    Catch up soon x x x

Mummy I'm not sure if you meant you were not enjoying your satsuma or you were now enjoying your satsuma, hoping it was the latter! I haven't had broccoli and stilton soup for a long time. I had pasta left over from last night's tea. It is a recipe that Nigella gave me for a very quick minestrone soup except I always put far too much pasta in it (because I love it) and it turns in to a pasta dish rather than a soup. I personally think it fills us up better than if it was just a soup and LM likes it :T

The cost of petrol is diabolical now isn't it? I hardly use my wee car so don't need to put huge amounts of petrol in it but it's a nightmare now when I put in £20 and it only takes it to 4 bars which disappear almost overnight

    Roll on payday :D

Re the petrol and car we really couldnt do without as we need to get DD2 to mil which there is isnt a direct bus or anything to get there etc. Dont know how we would actually cope tbh but I suppose people do when they have to xx

    Morning diary,

Just a quick thing which I forgot to mention yesterday. Im sure before when you filled up at Tesco you got a point for every £1 you spent on petrol. Well yesterday I noticed I only had half this amount ie half a point for every £1 spent. So on a £62 petrol fill up, I only received 31 points. Has this always been the case or is this a new thing?!

Nothing much to report. Im working from home today which is lovely to be sat in my living room! So id best get on!!

I haven't used Tesco petrol for a year or so but I do remember getting the full amount of points when I did use it. Oh, I just looked at the website and it says that you now get 1 point for every £2 spent so they have obviously changed it. That doesn't seem fair though :(

Hope you are having a good day aside from that though :)

    Afternoon diary,

    Payday woohoo :j:beer:!!!

Bank account looking nice and healthy again and will look even healthier after DH's payday next week!!
Today is a HSD, shopping coming this evening around £50. Ive been to the farmshop this morning and spent £30 on meat. For that I got:

    9 sausages
    10 chicken breasts
2 chicken breasts with skin on etc for roasting for sandwiches
    1 joint of beef topside
1 end piece of fillet steak (will do for 2 adults, romantic meal for 2 :kisses3:)
    1 pack lean minced steak

So that should keep us going a week or so.

Dont think ive anything else to report xx
