    Good Afternoon Diary,

All sorted here, a much better day thank you Laura, Bobarella and DFOD. Some of the girls admitted they had been mean to DD which is obviously why she retaliated although I'm not discounting her behaviour. TA apologised for speaking to DD in the way she did. I hope they realise they can't mess with us soon ha! I will always support the school in their actions... but also inform then when they make a mistake too. Girls can be sooooo mean can't they! Both my girls hang around with boys at school and I can understand why!

Had a pretty productive day at work too.

NSD7 over here :T suppose thats what happens when you're 9 days away from the longest January ever ha!

    Food:
Breakfast - porridge with nutella and banana
Lunch - chicken tikka salad and yoghurt
Tea - garlic chicken, roast potatoes, carrots and leeks
Snacks - 2 belvita biscuits and pear and raspberry smoothie

    Hope all ok anyway xx

Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
So pleased all is well. And yes. Girls can be mean. I was once running a party where I heard the birthday girl (5 if I recall right) telling one of her guests that she had 'ruined' her party. This was whilst the party was still going so how it was ruined I don't know....

However, boys can be quite unpleasant to each other too, from what my son tells me :)

Glad you got it sorted :) I got in trouble at school for slapping the school bully across the face when she pushed me. It was worth it though to see her shocked reaction :) Yes girls can be very mean I agree, being a mother to one of each I can confirm girls are worse temper-wise.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

    Afternoon Diary,

Im glad you all agree about some girls being awful! Thing is DFOD I don't even think her parents can see how sly she is and she always goes straight home and tells her mum what my DD has been up to!

Anyway TA called me over to say DD had been so positive today etc. She's never even set eyes on me before so not sure why she was all sweetness and light today.

So today will be NSD8 :T, 3 NSDs in a row woohoo!!! This will break tomorrow though but I can cope with that!

    Food:
    Breakfast: Weetabix
    Lunch: Cheese omelette with beans
Tea: not sure yet! Kids and DH have got a sausage roll from the farmshop
    Snacks: Banana and skips

Last night I was so tired I was fast asleep by 8.30 whilst trying to watch Sherlock with DH! Just couldn't keep my eyes open. Im flagging tonight but determined to go to the gym as I need to keep it up. Reckon il be asleep early tonight aswell.

    Hope all ok x

    Evening Diary,

I made it to the gym! Didn't find it overly hard tonight but didn't love it either, kind of medium! Had my tea and a shower and just sat down, feel so tired. Can't go on feeling so tired like this its awful.

DH has been doing some DIY in the bathroom, don't know if you remember the leak we had back in December. Well its just had a bit of filler on which will be sanded tomorrow and hopefully painted over soon. He's done a really good job of it and it hasn't cost more than £20 in materials which isn't bad considering we had quite a big hole in the ceiling. He is just tidying away in the garage now, feel bad for him he hasn't even sat down tonight yet!

Think thats about all, Thursday tomorrow, can't believe how fast these weeks go xx

  • Sorry to say it does not get any better - my DD is 14 and her group can be horrible and !!!!!y.

We currently have the saga of youth club, DD's friend said she was not going so DD did not go - turns out friend did go but did not want DD there so lied and then told another friend to lie.

She claims my daughter is boring and won't hang out with the boys at youth group - no, that's because she has better things to do and boys are not everything.

Said girl must have a boyfriend all the time and also sends rude pics to these boys.

A few months ago she upset my DD, who (un)fortunately is like me and says what she thinks so she told friend that she was horrible and !!!!!y etc especially when boys are about. Friend got upset and told her mum who contacted me to ask why my DD had been so horrible.
Luckily DD shows me all her snapchat chats etc so I know within a day or two what had been going on and was able to tell friends mum word for word the snapchat conversation and actually it was her daughter was the problem. I got an apology back and now friend is more careful about trying to play the victim.

I swear this is such hard work, I just want to knock some sense into them all but of course I have a rant to DH and am all sweetness and light telling DD that I am here for her and whatever she wants to do with her friends is fine by me while also wishing she could find some new friends.

Although one of my DD's group is quite new to their group as her own group told her they no longer liked her and she had to leave, cue lots of upset and she joined DD as they knew each other from primary school. I guess all the girls are the same really so probably better that she is in a group where I know the parents.

    Afternoon Diary,

Just walked through the door and sat down with a latte before the madness of tea time, baths and bedtime starts! DH said he's going to get on with the cleaning tonight so I've tidied the living room in preparation!

EE, I can totally believe what you've said in your post. I too am friends with the parents and the sad thing is the parents are really lovely! Im hoping my DD can now see how manipulative some of them really are. How awful about the youth club. I actually remember a similar thing when I was about 9 and 2 of my friends discussing amongst themselves that they would have school dinners which I was carrying on with packed lunches. I mean how mean and it has stuck with me to this day.

So tonight I had DD2 at the hairdressers for a fringe trim and then we had to pop to the farmshop for some cheese and chicken! We came back just in time to collect DD1 from her after school club.

Today has broken my 3 days NSDS  I knew it would but hey ho!

64p in the post office on a stamp
£10.04 in the farmshop on chicken and cheese
£3.64 in Mr T's on apples, bananas and cereal bars

Not too bad really. I am going to have to nip to the butchers tomorrow for a joint of beef and some sausages (prefer them to the FS... I know I'm odd ha!).

    Food:
    Breakfast - weetabix
Lunch - cheese omelette and beans and yoghurt
Tea - Cheese in creamy leek sauce, roast potatoes, carrots, broccoli and leeks
Snacks - 2 belvita biscuits & spinach, avocado and kiwi smoothie

Hope all ok, happy Friday eve!!! xx

Well done on getting to the gym. Hope DH does the cleaning up to scratch :)

Hearing all this chat I'm not looking forward to teenage girl time.
