  • Evening Diary,

Who's experienced the windy weather?! Its been so awful here even woke me up through the night. Its not really let up all day and then tonight were due snow. It always snows in the run up to DD's birthday just to stress me out a bit I think, usually where parties are concerned! x

    Ditto, Ditto, Ditto!!

Massive trees down here yesterday. Light snow today but more forecast later. Birthday party weather worries for DS2 as usual!!

    Enjoy the cinema Xx

    Afternoon Diary,

Snowfall was pretty poor to be honest! Parked our cars off the street for nothing ha!!

So SSD today on a school dinner. Was supposed to be having a leftover chicken sandwich but there wasn't much left so that was my dinners out of the window! Going to be more prepared for tomorrow and make an omelette and some salad.

PLMBL, we have these every year with the little ones birthdays don't we!! Hope everything goes ok for you.

So actually might end up having chips twice today :o will see how hungry I am when it comes to tea.

    Food:
    Breakfast - weetabix
Lunch - School pizza, chips and coleslaw
Tea - Hot beef baguette, chips (maybe!) and peas
Snack - fruit, yoghurt and oats and jelly

Hope all ok... 2 weeks until payday! xx

    Evening Diary,

So the snow caught us out... knew this would happen!! Luckily a neighbour had text last night to tell us to move our cars as snow had started. Lucky we did as we would have struggled getting off the street this morning. My school had a late opening but kids was business as usual. Always amazes me how you send texts, tweets etc to parents and they still ring and even better send the kids in early!

Anyway glad thats its the weekend. I was supposed to go to the gym but not feeling quite 100% so decided not to go. Just had a nice lush bath instead :D

    Food:
Breakfast: porridge and nutella and banana
Lunch: Egg mayo sandwich with salad, apple and crisps
Tea: BBQ chicken, HM wedges and peas
    Snacks: belvita biscuits

So with all the rushing around this morning totally forgot to get the food for tea out! Spent £23 in the butchers and switched round one of next weeks meals with tonights. Realised today the butchers is way too expensive (as nice as the meat is), I really need to start using the farmshop instead. It cost me £21 for 11 chicken breasts  they're £11 in the farmshop for 10! I think the butchers will be emergency use only in future.

Nothing much else to report xx

    Evening Diary,

    Happy Saturday!!!!

Fell asleep shortly after being on here last night, just couldn't keep my eyes open. Slept until 6.30 this morning so must have needed it.

Had a busy morning of buying balloons, cake etc for DD's birthday tomorrow. DH took the kids to football and I popped to Mr M's in the meantime. Quite a spendy day:

    £44 in Mr M's
    £5 in card factory
    £69 with Mr T's delivery

We've just had a lovely tea, don't know if anyones heard of spicentice, they do spice kits and I made a tikka masala which got the thumbs up from us 4.

DFOD, send them this way!! Don't think we've any forecast at the moment though.

Think thats all really. DD1 has got a chip on her shoulder tonight so she's just had a telling off from DH! She's getting in the bath and then it will be time for bed by the time she's finished as she takes ages!

    xx

  • Happy Birthday to your DD.x.
  • Thanks DFOD and Pennywise! Had a 6.15 start so not bad at all, last year she was up every hour from 12!!! She's made up with her present, we got her an iPad mini, she's been hogging DD1's and DH's loads recently so now she has her own.

Just waiting for my dad to come and visit and then we are off out to the cinema and pizza hut.

    Food:
Breakfast - pain au chocolate and a slice of toast!
    Lunch/Tea - Pizza hut
Snacks - popcorn and sweets ha!!

    Happy Sunday all xx
