    Evening PLMBL,

Back with a fully charged laptop ready to research London a bit more!!!
So were going to Legoland and we would like to do the sights and also the natural history museum. DD1 has requested to go to M&M world and not sure what else we can fit in tbh.

    xx

  • My 2 love Legoland. Have you been before? My top tip is to head to the back of the park first and work your way back towards the entrance. That way you avoid lots of the queues as you are 'swimming against the tide'. Alternatively, check out the map online before you go, get the girls to pick their 'must do' things and go for those first. Then you won't be disappointed if you run out of time before you go.

And take towels/swim stuff for the water areas Xx

  • No you don't have to go in too. You can see/walk/sit all around it (it's outdoors).

I too am jealous of your extra week :o.

Thanks PLMBL, I don't fancy being soaked and having to carry round 4 lots of soggy towels! DF0D, only 7 weeks for you until Summer... every cloud and all that :D x

    Mtg.
If you visiting the natural history museum go first thing. The queues are horrendous.
M and M world is great fun as is Leicester Square, always something to see there.
My girls love going to Buckingham palace to stand at the gates to see the guards etc.
I'm in London, feel free to pick my brain :)

    Afternoon Diary,

Very quiet here today as DD2 (the noisy one!) is on a trip with Beavers. DH took DD1 to football this morning whilst I went to the gym. Didnt really want to go but I knew it was the right thing to do given il be eating loads over the next few days!!!

Weve been into town and DH bought a lightweight rain coat and we also bought a present for DD's friend, she has the party to attend tomorrow before we go. Also spent £11 in Mr S on various bits of rubbish - totally blaming DH he is such a bad influence!

Got MIL over for tea soon, DH will go collect her since she's still on crutches. She's having the dog whilst we go away and I do feel a bit bad about putting on her, but I suppose he's no trouble and she does have 2 of her own so whats another!!!

Need to pack as DH still hasnt got the suitcase down for me. All DD's things are ready in my bedroom to stop them wearing them!!!

DF0D, aren't we all dear!!! Im counting down from September :rotfl:

Bagpuss, thats very kind and thank you for the advice. I will come and find you should I need to know anything!!

    Food:
Breakfast - weetabix and 1 pancake with lemon and sugar (DH was making them so couldn't resist!)
Lunch - tomato and basil soup and bread roll
Tea - sausage, mash, veg, stuffing and yorkshire puddings
Snack - nakd bar and millionaires shortbread (blaming DH!)

Might not get on between now and next week so have a lovely few days everyone xx
