  • The shopping sounds like a great idea, even better if you can get extra money saving vouchers for the higher cost week. It does seem that each week there is something big that has run out so doing it in one week will definitely help you reduce the cost the following weeks.

Yay to points in op world, so nice to get these little extras it really helps out, I'm frustrately sitting at a couple of surveys off redemption for v.ops but every survey at the minute I get kicked off.

Bah to weather, it was nice here this morning then the rain poured down hope it's better tomorrow I want to get into the garden.

    Have a good evening, C x

  • Morning Diary,

Well what another even more miserable day, heavy rain all day :(.

Just back from the drs armed with my medication and medical exemption certificate. They are going to retest me in 4 weeks to see how my levels are.

This afternoon we are going along to the fun swims at DD2s swimming place so that won't cost us anything and then the kids are going to gymnastics later on.

Today will be a SSD as I'm booked in for my eyebrows waxing after dropping them off.

Chrysalis and DF0D thanks for your support re the shopping. Ive changed my focus with this so many times, keeping focused is the key thing here!!

DH and I sat down for our budget review last night and this usually results in us falling out as DH remembers about all the debt and sulks but it went pretty well actually!!

Just caught up with my surveys and at £25.65 on 0nepoll and 1200 points with opworld!! Really pleased with this.

Thats about all from me. Hope all ok xx

  • Morning! Hope the meds help you feel a bit better, good they're not leaving it too long before seeing you again they can check they got the right level of everything.

Sounds like another busy day for you and the kids, I don't know how you fit school and work into everything that is going on :D

Glad your budget review went well, I've found with my dh that he responds better if I tell him when a debt is paid off or nearly finished rather than what we owe.

Hope you enjoy your day, C x

  • I often wonder how I fit in work too Chrysalis :rotfl:.

I can't take my medication until tomorrow as you have to take it an hour before breakfast. Im not sure what I'm expecting from this tbh given that its not what I went to the drs about 2 weeks ago! I may feel like I've got a new lease of life ha!! xx

  • Forgot to mention we are still without the heating, I actually think it feels quite warm even if the weather outside is rubbish!

Also we discussed last night about cancelling $ky. I don't know what it is but I just can't bring myself to do it!! As long as I get a deal I'm always happy with that. Our current deal ends in January so weve got a couple of weeks to decide. Most of the things I watch are actually on the freeview channels is just the kids really as well as the recording feature.

    xx

    Evening Diary,

    I am absolutely shattered tonight!

Went out with the kids swimming, its amazing how tiring bobbing about in the water is :rotfl:. They went off to gymnastics an hour later and I'm fighting to stay awake ha!!

Me and DD2 had a jacket potato for tea and DH and DD1 had sf chicken, oven chips and beans. I actually sat down and watched some come dine whilst it was cooking which I never do!

Well I'm up to 1350 on op world :T.

Tomorrow were waiting in for the dishwasher engineer so I'm planning on cleaning the oven and washing machine tomorrow.

Thats about all, hope all ok xx

  • Hi mummy, well done on keeping the heating off and for doing so well on the surveys. I don't know how you do it.:)

We cancelled sky over 12 months ago now. After the initial shock we haven't missed it to be fair. We've got freeview and normal TV. I remember DS3 was a bit upset when he realised he could no longer watch his favourite cartoon but he soon got over it. Just switched to EE broadband TV with a deal on DS2s new mobile.

Glad your OH is on board with the debt busting. Enjoy the rest of half term.

    Xx
