Good morning, day 1 of the holidays here which makes me
!
Been up early this morning as a. you cant really not with 2 kids and b. the engineers are coming out to fix my dishwasher (hopefully). It will be a sad day if they cant fix it!!!
Ive already got my bedding in the washer and its going to be lovely today so its going to be pegged out. Got 2 loads washing and line dried yesterday which also makes me happy.
If they come early enough me and the kids will pop to the farmshop for eggs and potatoes and then ive promised them a trip to the park. Lots of free activities planned for this holiday. The weathers looking good for this week so should be do-able.
Thats all really, nothing much more to report. Hope all ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
Well what a day! I decided to ring the engineers this morning at 9.30 to see what time they would be coming to be told... weve had to cancel your appointment our engineers rung in sick! Are they having a laugh? I was fuming especially since they hadnt even rung me. Can you imagine if id sat in all day waiting. Anyway, theyve promised we someone tomorrow and if they dont turn up D & General will be getting a call from me asking for a different contractor. So weve been up to the local farmshop to get a few bits, kids did the easter egg hunt and got a free chocolate so that kept them quiet!
Ive been a busy bee whilst theyve played out. Found a new quote for home insurance loads cheaper than my old policy and with £50 cashback after 70 days! So ive sorted that and told old place im not renewing. Made dentist appointment and ordered a Mr T's shop to come tomorrow with my £5 off from last week.
Had 2 loads dry on the line, just need to remake mine and DH's bed now.
Pasta bake and garlic bread for tea yum!
Think thats all, quite a productive day in all xxMummytogirls x0 -

Well did they turn up? I think you can have loads of fun if you plan it properly and for little if no money. Children only want you to spend loads of money if that is the way you bring them up...

Morning All,
Thanks for all your comments and yes they did come yesterday! I was straight on the phone in the morning and I was second on the list. They have fixed it, needed a new heating element which DH thought. Im annoyed though and contemplating a complaint but not sure it will get me anywhere. Basically I asked them to cover up my washer as they were getting a bit too close and this was basically laughed at. About half way through the guy went to his van and got a sheet to cover it, great I thought hes come to his senses and realised hes getting too close and you can tell its brand new. Wasnt until theyd gone that I realised oh no they had sodding scratched it. Not happy as I knew this was going to happen. Should have just gone on got the cover myself. I wouldnt mind but its silver so the scratches show up easily and the little matter that weve only had it about 3 weeks! Anyway will sort that out if we decide to complain, DH wants to but I dont know if it will get us anywhere.
So yesterday was another SSD. We had them come in the morning and then fun swims in the afternoon. Just bought the kids some snacks after we came out of swimming for £1.50.
I had the kids bedding dried yesterday, nice hm tea and then me and DH sorted out the back garden. Looks much better now its been mowed!
Today we are meeting my sister at a big park in the next town and taking a picnic. Theres a little train which is cheap to go on so will cost that plus an ice cream more than likely oh and car parking. Then back home to take the kids to gymnastics. Already have my towels blowing about on the line
.
Right think thats all for me. Hope all ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
Morning Diary,
Just had a couple of busy days and now back on here catching up! The weather has been lovely here so had lots of washing out on the line and dried!
Yesterday DH took his bike for the MOT in the morning and I cracked on with the cleaning. I had kept up to it through the week so it wasnt so bad. I even managed to get my ironing basket empty again and all put away
.
We had a 50% off bowling offer yesterday so used that which was a nice cheap way to get out and do something different. Today the washer is on as we speak (when is it not on?!) and the kids are doing an easter egg hunt on the street this afternoon. Ive got a contribution to give aswell which I need to give to one of the ladies organising it.
Nothing much more to report really.
Hope all ok xMummytogirls x0 -
I think you should complain about the washer. Particularly as you asked them to cover it, they didn't and then they tries to get away with what they had done .
Glad you are enjoying the holidays XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
