    Hi Mummy,

Is the weather still nice where you are? We had a lovely weekend (although not as warm as in the South), I managed to clean all the dead leaves out of the garden and do a thorough clean of the house, like you I haven't been feeling great and cleaning was the last thing I felt like doing. A bit of sun always perks me up.

    Hope you feeling better now,

    xx

    Afternoon Diary,

11 days has gone by without a post.... where does the time go?!

Nothing much to report really considering. Very much looking forward to payday in just under 2 weeks! Have enough for shopping etc but not much more than that.

Yesterday was NSD7 so not doing bad but today will be a spend day as I need to pick up a few bits from the coop on my way to pick the girls up from school. I might get a chicken and do a roast for tea. I was supposed to call in at the butchers on the way home from work but I forgot!

Ive done very well recently with getting washing pegged out and have another load out there this afternoon. Its quite warm and windy aswell so hopefully it will dry.

Im now at £32 with my 2 coins and ive rounded down about an extra £ in so am at £60 something in my holiday savings now.

Nothing more to report, hope all ok xx

    Afternoon Diary,

Nothing too exciting to report, just trying to keep up with posting.

So yesterday I ended up buying a chicken from the coop and doing a roast, it was delicious aswell!! Today I will make things easier on myself and im making a cheese and onion quiche, hm chips and beans.

Ive been to Mr Ts today to buy DDs some tracksuit bottoms for sports relief day at school tomorrow. Used my cc vouchers so im classing it as a NSD no 8 of the month.

Ive come home and cleaned the bathrooms and hoovered throughout. Now sat down having a cuppa and a catch up :D.

Oh I bought the girls an icecream from the icecream van yesterday outside school and was given another £2 coin so thats now £34, well pleased with that!

Think thats about all from me. Hope all ok xx

  • I think most of us will admit to being guilty of at least a few things on that list pre-mse!!

The weather has changed dramatically here. This time last week Spring had sprung, there are lambs in the fields and it was warm enough for trips to the park with no coat on! I got loads of washing pegged out etc. Today it is blowing a gale and we keep getting heavy downpours of cold sleety rain :(.

    Quiche sounds delish! Xx

Ok so my plan to try and keep up with the diary didnt work and now im back after 8 days of no posting! Time is just totally running away with me.. thats my excuse and im sticking to it!!! :D

Sooooo weve had a really up and down week. DH had some stuff going on at work which I cant go into on here but its all sorted now which is a relief! Our washer died on us and we had to buy a new one, which was fine as I was wanting to replace it soon anyway. The best news is that DH got a 9% payrise and also a £1k bonus :j. Im really pleased for him and hes worked really hard so totally deserves it. Payday Monday woohoo and then my payday Tuesday.
So we really need to make sure we dont squander this money away like we always do! Im just going to transfer it straight over to DH and he can make the overpays or save it. Its all on 0% so it would make sense to save it but we always end up spending some which cant be avoided when things keep breaking down in the house.

Obviously im over the moon because after a few tough years I finally feel like we are getting somewhere.

Tonights tea is chicken goujons that ive already pre-made along with wedges and beans.

Tomorrow we are going to go to a local shopping centre and take back my handbag which cost a pretty penny and is all ripped on the inside. Weve also promised DD2 a new dressing up costume so will pick that up too.

The girls have come home with their handmade gifts, love it now that they get all excited and sneaky hiding things from me!! Theyve made me a treasure hunt bless them.

Right nothing much more to report. Hope everyones ok and Happy Mothers Day to all you mummies out there xx
