    Afternoon Diary,

4th December already ! DH and I have the day off tomorrow to complete the shopping. Theres not much to get now, infact I think Boots and Matalan will do it. I would also like to buy the paint for the kitchen whilst were out and about.

Ive also been busy booking DD2 4th birthday party which is 3 weeks after Christmas, feeling very organised!

We had some generous new yesterday! Basically we were shutting down the office for Christmas, using our annual leave.
The Director emailed yesterday to say that for special recognition of how hard weve all worked, shes giving us the Christmas holidays for free so we dont have to use our entitlement. So nice to be recognised for the hard work you are doing, makes it so much more worth while.

Nothing to report money wise. Paid everything this month but I still need to update my figures.
Just worked out that when DH gets paid again we will be saving £500 a month! Wowzers! Some big chunks should definately be getting paid off.

Right best get on! Hope everyones ok xx

    Morning Diary!

Hope everyones ok. Well more or less every night this week I have been asleep on the sofa by 9pm...so rock and roll. I just think everything has caught up with me from the last couple of months.

DH and I had a lovely day on together on Wednesday. We dropped the kids off at school, went to a local bakery for breakfast then went shopping. We managed to get more or less everything. I think a short trip to Asda will complete the rest as MIL wants a dressing gown from there. The kids didnt need picking up til 5.45 so I managed to get everything wrapped too!

2 working weeks left at work but that will fly. This coming Thursday I am working from home as its DD1's nativity and then the following Thursday and Friday I am doing shorter days as mil is on holiday so I dont have the childcare for DD2.

Nothing much to report money wise, im getting paid early on the 18th which I am looking forward to but tbh, everything is bought already so doesnt make no odds really... never ever thought I would be saying that!

So this weekend we arent really doing much. The neighbours have their nephew round this weekend so have invited us round for breakfast of pancakes so we are going round there soon. The street is like a skating rink... just had a good laugh at this guy trying to get out in his car. Hes the street @rsehole so serves him right haha!!!!
So I am not sure if we will attempt to go out, although I would like to buy the paint for the kitchen.

We will see anyway, looking forward to a chilled weekend off. Hope everyones is ok xx

    Hi Mummy

Well done on getting your presents wrapped, thats my task for this week.
    Enjoy your weeked xx
  • Morning Diary,

DH just taken the girls to DD1's lesson so im just having a quick catch up and then im going to give the house a quick going over. Its not too bad so shouldnt take too long.

So yesterday DH got in a bit of a nark with me because apparently I did nothing but laze about and have a sleep. I did do this yes, but the sleep was for about 15 minutes (he often does this too!). I quickly pointed out that I had infact cooked lunch and dinner, finished off the ironing and put it away and tidied round a bit and I dont often laze around all day so if I want to do it I will!! That soon shut him up... dont know who he thinks he is sometimes.
Ive started with a cold in the night and my nose is itching like mad, so safe to say I didnt have the best of sleeps but what is new in this house!

Ive had enough of lazing, one day is usually enough for me and now once ive sorted the house I will be popping out to buy some shopping and hopefully pick up a dressing gown for MIL which she wants for Christmas at the same time. Theres a new Asda opened up down the road, I might try there.

Sausage, mash and veg for tea and im got mince and chicken out to make a lasagne and goujons for in the week.

Hi Choo, long time no speak how are you doing?

Dont think ive anything else to report! Hope everyones ok xx

  • Afternoon Diary,

Just getting a bit bored of what im doing so thought id pop in for a quick catch up and then make a cuppa and see if I can get back into my work!

So last week I was having a paddy with a certain store about my onesie I ordered and it never came. I had to go back into the store for my refund as thats where I ordered not online.
They had a rubbish selection (or so I thought!) and the queue was huge so I just got my credit note and left.
DH 's work have partnered with them and he sent me a 25% off voucher on Friday afternoon. So today I went back in at lunch time armed with my voucher and credit note and asked another member of staff to look in the back for me another onesie in the design I wanted. She pointed me to loads more they had at the back of the store... must have been fate that I wasnt pointed in that direction the other day! Anyway I managed to get that and a hot water bottle for my friend for Christmas for only £1.74 more.. bargain!!!!
I also had £1.40 left on my love to shop card which I used up £1.40 in boots stocking up on my tablets etc.

I must be getting my MSE head back on because Ive been treating myself to lattes quite a lot recently and as I walked by today I thought nope im not getting one haha!!! So ive got about £35 worth of things today for £1.74... I have still got it in me very MSE :money:!!!

So ive one more present to buy which is for my mum and she is away at the moment so I cant ask her what she wants!

Its DH's christmas party on Friday and its all paid for. Theres loads of wine on the table and hes just emailed to say theyve added on 48 bottles of beer too!! That will be us swaying about haha!! We are staying over in the hotel, its only £50 and we would have spent more than that if we were to both go out plus it would be around £20 on taxis anyway. Im really looking forward to it.

Alice, I certainly do haha!! Now ive got my onesie all I want to do it go home and sit on the settee with it on haha!!!

Hope everyones ok, payday next Tuesday :T xx

  • Hi mummy, well done on the great bargains you got today....its was obviously meant to be :).

A big pat on the back too for walking past and not letting the latte draw you in.

  • Morning Diary,

I have been totally on edge yesterday and today, my stomach is in knots and I feel sick. Basically my mum went away last week to get married and the wedding was yesterday.
I was promised photos and so I sat all day yesterday glued to my phone, then from 7-10pm glued to the laptop only to be told at 10pm that they needed an internet cafe place. The person who was sending them must have known this and I am totally gutted. Cried pretty much all night, couldnt get to sleep and now im sat at work crying my eyes out at my laptop. Its a good job im the only one in.
Ive been texting my cousin about it because theres only me and one of my brothers who didnt go and he wont be giving a !!!!!!!
I know we made the right decision not to go as when they were booking it my job wasnt secure, but I am totally gutted that I cant even see a picture.
We are going to a Christening on Sunday and tbh I dont want to go as they will all be there and I will be pretending everything is ok but deep down totally upset and gutted I couldnt be there.

Thanks for popping by Alice, only 1 more at work for me I break up on Friday 21st woohoo!!!!

    Really cant concentrate today x

  • Morning Diary,

Just popping in for a little catch up. Feeling much more positive today, managed to see some photos yesterday which made my day.

Yesterday was 2 years since DH found out :(, that date will always stick in my head but we have come such a long way since then.

So today, I am working from home in between popping down to school for a few events and DD1's nativity... its safe to say I will be spending more time at school than anywhere else today haha!!

I really enjoy working from home on occasions, it really breaks your week up.

I cant remember if ive said but tomorrow night we are going to DH's christmas party and staying over in the hotel. So looking forward to that! Im going to get all my stuff and the kids (since their at Grandads tomorrow) ready tonight and also paint my nails. We hardly ever get a night away so I am really going to enjoy this!!
Only downside is weve got to pick the kids up 10am Saturday morning but still it will be better than getting up with them at 6am!!

    Hope everyones ok xx
