Ha it doesnt happen too often Alice! We had friends over yesterday and did nothing in the house except put some washing in so I always feel like I should do more the next day!
I meant to say I transferred £4.86 out from surveys yesterday so thats abother £4.86 to add to my shopping budget for next week. This currently stands at £24!! It is do-able, ive done it on £10 before now!
The kids are on the PC on cbeebies website, so me and DH are enjoying some unheard of peace!! xxMummytogirls x0 -
Morning Diary,
Hope everyones had a lovely weekend, cant believe its over!
I had a lovely chilled out weekend and did not spend a penny all weekend :j!
I forgot to say ive had to open up a cashback claim in quidc0. My purchase tracked with no amount but then I decided to find out whats going on and they said I needed to make a claim. So thats probably going to be another 6 months before anything happens. Love the free money but hate the stress with checking in every day!
So today ive got a few jobs to do round the house and still need to return my mums ironing which il do to get out with the kids I think!
Have got some washing to do but unsure of the weather as yet so might not do it!
Dont think ive anything else to report! Hope everyones ok xxMummytogirls x0 -

Hi Alice,
Never heard the saying 10 minute weekend but I like it ha!!
Well looks like im on for NSD7 :j!! 3 in a row woohoo.
I could actually do with buying milk but if I tell DH to have his breakfast at work tomorrow we should be ok! Tomorrow will definately be a spend day then.
Ive been and collected my ironing money so thats £11.73 for the shopping so far! My boss best get a move on with paying my expenses and my paypal money will be in Weds. That means Weds il do the shopping hence 2 spend days in a row... booooo!!!
Managed to get a load of whites washed and dried, but its so dark out there would would think its October! I actually think its pretty cold too. Nice sausage and mash for tea to warm us up!
Tomorrow looks overcast but dry when I checked so will get 2 loads washed as I really need to catch up with the washing now. If its rubbish out il have no choice but to use the TD.
Thats all from me! Just reminding everyone we actually are in August incase you were wondering :rotfl: xxMummytogirls x0 -
Morning Diary,
Well looks like its going to be a lovely day today, a bit cloudy but warm and no rain :j. Ive 2 loads of washing already on the go but going to see if I could possibly squueze a 3rd in considering the weather goes down hill tomorrow and im not here to keep an eye on it.
Today will be a spend day, breaking my 3 in a row NSD! I need milk and some other bits so I am going to bring the shop forward and go to Mr M's today. With 2 kids in tow may I add .... I have promised them sweets if they behave and help me! I am 'borrowing' the money from the joint account until my expenses and paypal money go in.
Thats about how exciting as it gets for me today!! Hope everyones ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
Morning Diary,
Well yesterday turned out to be boiling hot yesterday, so much for it saying it would rain heavily! I was absolutely shattered by the time the kids came in last night.
I decided to keep all my ironing up to date so did that once DH arrived home and spent probably half an hour or so it felt putting it all away!
Went to Mr M's yesterday and spent £32, the kids were good and enjoyed their sweets.
Today im back at work and it looks like im on for NSD8 :j. The kids had a sleep in until 7.30 today, pity they dont decide to do that on my days off.
Think thats all from me! Hope everyones ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
My DS3 has a knack of doing that 'sleeping in on a work/school day' and then up at the crack of dawn at the weekend.
We've got drizzly rain today but its very muggy so no pegging out today.
You're doing great on the NSDs.xxDMP with CCCS started Jan12 £34,906 Jan13 £31,893 Jan14 £26,836 Jan15 £21,894 Jan16 £16,839 Jan17 £14,415 Jan19 £12,938ish Jan19 £9,649 Jan20 £6612 Feb 21 0 Self managed from Jan'17

Evening Diary,
Hey Alice! Luckily I made the right decision re the washing its absolutely pee'd it down all afternoon, argh stupid weather!
Blooming kids, I dont understand why they do it!
Well as I just mentioned it has absolutely bucketed it down all afternoon, silly old me was in sandals and a cardigan (no coat or umbrella!). My car was parked 5 mins walk away so my boss drove me to it as he was parked right over the road!! I would have been absolutely drenced. Poor DH was just outside wringing his bike gloves out! He was soaked poor thing... but he did want the bike so more fool him :rotfl:!!
I have been playing busy and organised mummy since I got home.
Cooked pasta bake and garlic bread for tonights tea, quiche for tomorrow and chicken goujons for Friday. Also pasta salad for my lunch tomorrow... very impressed with myself. There were 2 portions of pasta leftover so that will be DH lunch tomorrow and 1 day next week.
I have sorted 2 baskets of washing out which I will get DH to do on Friday when hes off, that way it can be pegged out.
Think thats about all from me! Hope everyones ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hi Mummy,
Just had a quick catch up of your diary.
It peed down from about 3pm here today, it was monsoon! I can't complain as it was boiling yesterday and the weekend was gorgeous too.
My DD is the same, she always gets up early on a weekend and sleeps in during the week, although saying that we have averaged 7.30am whilst I have been off which is fab.
Poor OH getting soaked, I laughed out loud at your comment about him wanting the bike.
