Hi Mummy,
YEY! Well done on your new job :j. I know what you mean about child care costs, when DD leaves nursery I thought I would be quids in, but after school club will only leave me £140 a month better off. Still paying out £300.

Sooo glad you went out and got drunk! Its needed from time to time, and you had something to celebrate. £33 isn't too bad, hope you got a kebab on the way home to make it a real night out :D

Weather is on and off here, managed to take DD to Adventure Valley today and it didn't rain until we got home at 5.

I bet you love your new bracelet.

Morning Diary,

Another early start at work. Seem to have developed a cold and cough and was coughing my head off at 4am .

Thanks Pennywise, im not sure its actually sunk in that im going to be working full time yet. Im sure everything will work out, it always does doesnt it!

Nothing too exciting to report.
I knew the weather was going to be nice so I washed 2 loads and pegged them out this morning.

Nothing to report on the money front, just plodding on to payday which is 2 weeks tomorrow :j.

Hope everyones ok xx

Morning Diary,

Another quiet day in the office, probably only 1 other colleague will come in! I think il leave early this evening, considering its such a nice evening and its Friday :j.

So yesterday was pretty uneventful and NSD4 of the month, not doing so bad this month.

We are having a BBQ with some friends tomorrow and so I have already been to the farmshop this morning and spent £13 on meat for the occasion. Left DH with £4 to buy teacakes and finger rolls for the burgers and sausages.

I now have no shopping budget left! I do however have £10 in expenses waiting to be paid and £10 ironing money from my mum so once that comes rolling in we should be ok! Failing that we might have to raid the savings, which I really dont want to do. Oh I have £1.73 in my current account aswell :rotfl:!
Shopping done for this week so that would just need to take us up to payday which is 2 weeks today :j.

Roll on payday, cant wait to top my pots back up. Although that said we wont be saving the £210 this month as DH's CBT and bike service are due at the end of the month and total this exact amount.... spooky!!

For the next couple of months we are pretty much going to be clearing out our joint account as we have the girls birthday's coming up in November and January, so everytime we get to £200 this is cleared out with parties and presents. I know this may seem a lot but whilst we are not struggling to pay things and not robbing Peter to pay Paul I think its important they dont miss out because of me and my mistakes in the past.

My aim for the next 6 months is to try and pay off my 2 smallest debts which is v3ry catalogue (£200) and my m*thercare store card (£600).
This would save us £50 a month and they are the ones with the highest apr. Paying these off would also get us into the £11k's!
That would then just leave credit cards.
I am just wishing the months away to get the lump sums built up to pay off!

Anyway DH is at home with the girls today and they had a sleep in until 7.30 so he will be pleased! He is going to stay round the village and take them to the park etc.

Right think ive waffled on enough about my aims etc! Hope everyones ok xx

Afternoon Diary,

Office is definately too quiet today, got loads done so far but need a break!

I think I mentioned a while back that my dishwasher has been playing up for a while and we actually stopped using it about 2 months ago as it wasnt cleaning properly at all. DH thinks it may the the pump as the stuff on the top are not cleaning at all. So weve had to wash up manually, poor us :( haha as I just cant justify buying a new one and the repair costs as well as call out charges are ridiculous... or so I thought...

Just called B@umatic as I found an email of registration from them whilst clearing out my hotmail account. So I thought I would give them a call. Turns out parts are still covered but call out isnt.
This would be £91 for 3 months call out cover. I dont think this is bad and so have emailed DH to see what he thinks.
If we could pay in installments I would defo go ahead but then im also thinking maybe I should use my birthday money (when I get it and if I get any :rotfl:) and be a MSE instead :money:.

Hmmm really need to find out if I could pay installments really.....

Evening diary,

Just popping in for a quick catch up before DH brings the DD's in for a bath and supper.

Had a lovely day out in the garden. Had some friends over for a BBQ and whilst the weather has been overcast it has stayed dry and we had lovely food.

Today is NSD5 :j.

Just put a load of pinks in and checked on the weather and its looking dry again tomorrow so will get another load in this evening and peg straight out in the morning.
DD's swimming lesson is now 9am on Sunday morning but at least it gets it out the way and we are up anyway.

Oh DH received a 0% for 6 months on balance transfer so need to work out whether or not its worth to transfer my halifax over for the sake of 6 months. Im sure it would be worth it but I need to work it all out first.

Think thats all from me. Hope everyones ok xx

Morning Diary,

Well DD's lesson went well and its much quieter at that time which is what we were hoping for. Ive also enquired about DD2 starting lessons at a similar time... more expense! They may have a slot but will let me know next week.

So its early on and ive got my washing pegged out and braising steak in the oven for tea. The kids are playing out so thats probably it for the day, the kids playing out and us pottering about.

Hoping today should be NSD6 all being well.

Think thats all from me. Catch up soon xx

Hope you can sort DD2 swimming lessons out, and like you say it may be 9.00am on Sunday morning but at least they are done and out of the way and you can enjoy the rest of the day.

Have good day.xx
